even when Ranaudo gets back i think Matulis should start ahead of Ross, two reasons, we need a lefty in rotation and matulis has looked good and Ross seems to be money until he gets to 4 innings pitched because maybe the lineup starts to figure him out, therefore he would fit long to middle relief better

Why would we replace Matulis with Ross at this point? Matulis has been decent, but hasn't done anything yet to deserve that job.
