Not sure why you're so sensitive. Your entire op is based on assumptions, ifs, mights, coulds, shoulds, woulds, seems, and fathoms. You don't seem real confident in what you posted.
It is not assumptions. I can't fathom how you can be this stupid. Oklahoma St is going to be ahead of Alabama in at least 5 computer polls if they beat Oklahoma St. End of discussion. No other games need be looked at.
Secondly, if Oklahoma St gets 25 percent of the second place vote and is 3rd in all the other polls, they get in. No other factors need be looked at.
LSUMatt has not claimed to know what the voters will do. You are the one making a fool of yourself pretending to know for sure what humans will put. Matt is claiming to know exactly what will happen with the computer rankings because the ONLY factor that can affect them is the remaining games on the schedule.

RockStar, please change your team back to Bama.
Yes, please. I'm not sure I've ever seen a stupider string of posts on this board, and that is saying something.

Don't worry Matt, when osu wins and is picked to face lsu in the natty, you can remind all the gumps that they were wrong and u were right.

Not sure what all the animosity is towards Matt about.
If you don't like what he has offered here, don't click on the thread. You people obviously can't even understand half of what he is trying to tell you because your brain can't comprehend it (for those that are bashing him).
He's offered up valuable information that a LOT of people want to know about. He knows what he is talking about.

There are ZERO hypothetical possibilities of games left on the schedule that would keep Bama ahead of OSU if OSU beats Oklahoma.
Other than the voters.

If Okie State wins out, there will be no "rematch" in the BCSCG. I guarantee it.

I was talking about the computer rankings. There are no possibilities that would put Bama in front of OSU there, despite what that other clown says,

Right the voters will place a team that was a 28 pt favorite and lost to a terrible team over a team that lost by 3 pts in OT to the number 1 ranked team. Makes perfect sense to me. You might get the computers but you ain't getting the voters.

Voters were right. Michigan was blown out by USCw. Ohio State by FL.Not the same with Alabama, LSU 2011. We KNOW they are as good as advertised.
How so? Because Bama beat Penn St?

I'm trying to get a handle on how much a fourth place vote would hurt OSU.
Let's say a Boise State voter hands OSU a single fourth place vote on the final day.
How much does that increase the percentage of #2 votes OSU needs? It was 25%. What percentage would they need after that?

Think of it as every 4th place vote cancelling out one of the 2nd place votes Oklahoma St got. A 5th place vote would cancel out two second place votes for Oklahoma St, and so on.
So for every 4th place vote OSU gets, they will need an extra 2nd place vote in addition to the 25 percent.

I don't think you can punish the team for being a 28 point road favorite.

Your head is in the sand. Look at closing history of the BCS. Maybe LSU fans understand this stuff better because we have walked the tightrope so much over the past decade.

Basically, for every fourth place vote, OSU would need another 2nd place vote.

So it's a vote for a vote, when looking at #2 votes versus #4 votes. But 2 votes for 1 vote when looking at #2 votes versus #5 votes.
Can I assume that in order to make up for a #6 vote, it would require 3 #2 votes?
And so on?
