I knew he would be good, but this guy is crazy good

No, I didn't think he would be this good. We could be witnessing the greatest Tiger of all time!!

I want to point out that SFP used the term "fourtards" to describe those that think Fournette's game is better than Hill's.

I expected him to be a stud and an elite RB... And he's surpassed my expectations by a lot.
He's playing at a level rarely seen in college football.
All those "once in a generation" type of player claims were true. And it's not just his stats, but how he's doing it. He's just bigger, stronger, faster, more powerful, etc than everyone else. He truly looks like a man among boys out there and that's something you rarely see in big tile college football.

I thought he would come in and be Jeremy Hill good. Which i think many thought was unrealistic.
I almost started this exact thread yesterday, and this was exactly my thought before the season last year. I thought if he was as good as Jeremy Hill, I would be really happy. And at the end of last year, he got to that point.
This year, just wow. And we can't forget that he hasn't had a team to pad his stats against yet. These are real teams we're playing (OK, I know, Auburn, but their defense hasn't been terrible otherwise).

Yes and Guice will be a stud too. I can see he struggles a little like LF did last year being a little indecisive hitting the hole. It will help him to sit behind LF and learn, I expect a big year out of him his Jr year.

Only a "tard" would think he was not gonna be special. And it doesn't surprise me coming from these two.

He clearly improved last year as the season progressed, but so did the blockers. The blockers have continued to improve under Grimes and LF has as well with the yards after contact. Throw in perhaps the best blocking FB in Moore that LSU has had recently ( not ready to crown Moore yet) and this is a lethal combination.

NO
And after losing best lineman in Collins he's making the oline look better, we might be stronger in the interior than last year though

yes

I thought he would be at least as good as Hill. However, like the other guy said, I did not see him making 200 yds look easy.

Being studs and being THIS good are not the same...I mean look at what LF is doing. He is being mentioned with all time greats. Not in my wildest dreams did I think he would be this good. He is leaps and bounds better than he was last year.

I thought he would be really good, just didnt know if the coaching staff would give him the opportunity to be a lead workhorse like this. 20+ carries a game has been a rare thing for Les Miles era LSU backs. For comparison... J Hill only had 6 games in his 2 seasons with 20+ carries in a game. With that said, I was hoping for Nick Chubb type numbers of 20-30 carries, and about 150 yards, but hes even surpassing that and making it look easy, which is just ridiculous. Big boys paving the way have been a great help though.

I did not. He has greatly improved from last year. Scary to think how good he may be next year if he continues to improve.

I thought he would be REALLY good.
I thought he would have a breakout year.
Anyone that says they were expecting THIS, is a liar.

There will be 50 people who will critique his play.
That is not the same as being critical. Everyone, can improve, find something to do better.
That being said, my eyes are not good enough to find anything for him to improve.

And we're doing it with 2 freshman as the guards. This is crazy. LF has been superman so far this season. I won't be surprised if he breaks every record we have.

Like most of us here, I had high expectations, but this is like watching a video game.

Lester and SFP. Probably the two most subtle negatigers on the board

I have watched him transform from a high school beast into a NFL #1 draft pick. He has it all now last year he seemed a bit hesitate when hitting the holes this year he is looking for someone to hit. Buga
