I'm just pointing out Orgeron is doing better "with Miles talent" than Miles did before he left

Maybe the guy shouldn't have started the conversation

Any ways, yall are insane saying coach O inherited some dumpster fire. It was a 10 win program he inherited.

It's crazy the lengths people will go to discredit a NC-winning coach.

It's a flawed argument because a lot of that talent had not matured when Miles was still here. Devin White was a true freshman. Greedy redshirted in Miles's last season.

But I know you're not really interested in making a fair point so these arguments lacking in consistency will serve you well.

You're a fricking idiot man. It's the off-season, on a Sunday and you're trying to shite on our most successful coach ever to try and prop up O. It's fitting you have bayou in your name.

Sorry to disappoint you. More like lurker who decided to start chiming in, motivated by irrational posters like you if you must know the truth. But congrats on your crowning lifetime achievement of posting 162k times on a message board. I'm sure your mother must be proud.

Your argument is weak, as always, b/c you're overly biased. Be more open-minded and you can see things a lot clearer.

Sure it is because you don't like the numbers.

But Orgeron has done markedly better over he same 35 game span than Miles.

It's not apples to apples though. It's not the same team, it's not the same schedule. This is one of your more intellectually dishonest assertions in recent memory.

And of Miles's 12 losses, none of them were to Troy. That should count as 10 right there.

Sorry. Not familiar with his work. I've usually just read here or SEC Rant or Outdoors. I'll be on the lookout though

Miles’ first 40 games 34-6

Saban’s last 40 games 31-9

Of course not. Things change both for the better and worse.

But you'll spin it however fits your agenda. Orgeron has a better record than Miles over that span. That's indisputable

Hindsight is 20/20, but our schedules over the last two years didn't live up to their potential difficulty, and I believe Miles could've gotten us to the Fiesta Bowl with 3 losses this past season.

My overall point is that we haven't gotten tangibly closer to winning a championship, so I'm not sure how much "better" we are.

And Miles had a better record over his first 3 seasons than Saban had over his last 3 with LSU. So what?

Pretty sure 5 teams we played were in the top 25 total defense

I'm sure if you stare long enough you can find things that support a particular bias.

I'm just throwing out variables to consider in addition to simple W-L records. How insecure are you?
