for HOB it depends on what you like. The balcony is great, its seated of course and it overhangs so you can probably spit and hit one of the band members. Thats why they are more per ticket because you are sitting and are elevated. Me personally, I like to be with the action down on the floor. Their are bars all around the floor and you can either hang out in the back or get in the thick of things in the middle/front. cant go wrong either way, its your personal preference. Oh yeah i guess if youre a short MF'er you would want the balcony too.
For the record people, i know this isnt U2 playing the night before, just thought id throw this out there cause I know their will be some BTE fans in town looking for something to do and they are from LSU. Ive seen them 15 times as well, but ill be pumped up and many drinks in by the time they hit the stage and "Fight For LSU" will sound great when the band starts playing it and most of the crowd is singing along. You will be outta there by 11 or so, so plenty of time to drag some tail and get some drinks

Better Than Ezra in my opinion jumped the shark when the original drummer left.

Are there any hotels within walking distance of uptown? I'm not that familiar with DFW. Thanks.

1993, buddies and I drove to Tuscaloosa for the game. We were broke broke - the kind of broke you can only be as a college freshman. Heard that some other folks we knew were going to the Ivory Tusk. We're 18-year-old know-nothings, show up just because. Just as we get situated, the band starts. And the first thing they do is play the fight song. Our fight song. The crowd went nuts. It was Better Than Ezra. I also almost lit a chick's eyebrows on fire that night, trying to light her cigarette. Good times.

Oh - and we won that game, the next day. Broke Bama's win streak. I think they were defending national champs. Eddie Kennison.
