Wasn’t worried about the passing side but was hoping he’d help carry over the RPO stuff

I’ll remind you both....

We are gonna have a top 20 pass offense next year and people will bitch because it isn’t 5600 and 60

Yea he was the last guy I had faith in to retain Brady’s core philosophies

Top 20 isn’t good. Need to be Top 10 if we are going to make the playoffs.

From the greatest offense in college football history? Yes we are going to regress from that. If you are expecting that every year you just soon stop watching football.

A 50% regression in yards and touchdowns would be 3,000 yards and 30 touchdowns. 2019 was all time ridiculous.

What I meant to say is that we’re going to be very average. Way to read overly literal though.

It should be good but you have a new OL with a QB that can’t evade a rush like Burrow. That will be the biggest hangup even if they can mimic the play calling, which I don’t really have the utmost confidence in right now

So do you think we will be closer to 2018 effective or 2019?

The interest in bringing in a transfer QB again clearly shows signs lacking confidence.

I don't think I've seen anybody interested in bringing in a transfer QB except chicken-little rantards!

We will find out what Brennan can do with his feet. To say that he can't evade the rush when he hasn't been attacked in obvious passing downs is premature. He rushed the football against Vandy and thats the only real carries I remember besides some OU mop up.

we hired our analysts to take the place of these guys. Linehan isn't the true replacement for Brady, it is guys like Russ Callaway and Tyler Tettleton who are about 30 and Carter Sheridan who is about 40.

Those are the real guys hired to replace Brady.

2019. Nfl players at all skill positions. OL has talent but there will be growing pains. I don’t love Brennan but I think he’s competent enough for this team to have another special season if the play calling is there

the amount of panic is mind boggling. who cares about a fricking analyst. if he was worth keeping he'd be a coach. downvote away sissy boys

You must not follow recruiting, but Peyton Ramsey is a target right now

There is a huge gap between LSU 2019 offense and average. There could be serious regression and still be one of the best offenses in school history.

The QB for LSU next year can literally throw for 2000 less yards and 30 less TD’s than Joe Burrow and still be number 2 in school history in both of those categories.

2018 yielded a 10-3 record with the 7OT loss, a 3 turnover UF game and the Bama beatdown. If we are closer to 2019 capable offensively we are likely a 1 loss team which is better than my predicted 10-2 or 9-3. I'm happy with that. We will be a veteran team in 2021 and we should be a contender again.

hard to argue against this... but i tend to think brennan will be better than many think he is... will there be growing pains, sure... but i still think he goes 4k yds and 30 TDs... which aint bad... and i think it gets even better in 2021...

I think brennan's quick release is going to help him alot, as well as veteran WR corp. i think once hes comfortable he will make quick decisions and reads... he did it very well when i saw him in high school... he doesnt have the moxie as joe but he doesnt have to. he just has to make others believe in him..

I compare Brennan's Personality as a Carson Palmer type, just my 2 cents
