Glad we gave him a full release

This is a really good assessment of the situation.
I really hope he ends up with a team and coach who can help him reach his full potential. I hate how things happened for him here and wish him the best.

Good Luck Brandon thanks for being a Tiger and here's hoping you get a better QB coach that suits your talent.

Harris had no pocket presence or ability to check down.
In my mind his biggest issue was his ability to recognize open men and quickly throw to the short intermediate routes.
Instead, his habit was to await the deeper routes (or multiple move intermediates) and attempt to make see routes work on sheer arm strength. Sometimes it worked because arm strength was, by far, his strongest weapon.
If you cannot accurately and quickly complete short- intermediate routes against seven -eight man fronts, you cannot succeed in the Miles offense.
He could never progress beyond reliance in arm strength...

I wish this excellent young man to have all the success in the world - as a player, a husband, a father and in his career. He handled himself with class and grace in circumstances that would crumble 95% of internet tough guy commenters.

Looks like he transferred out of English class too.
I wish him the best and wish he could have had a competent OC/QB coach to coach him up. I was hoping he'd stay and give it a shot under Canada, as I think his skills are better suited for that type of offense.
I also wonder if this says anything about our other QBs. Is it now Etling - Scott - McMillan?

Cameron & Miles deserve a great deal of the blame. I can imagine them selling him a bag of goods on being a successful QB here. Given what we know about Cam Cameron now. I don't think he was ever in the business of developing Brandon Harris.
He was raw coming out. He would have road the pine at OSU and gotten maybe slightly better coaching running a HS offense at Auburn while not preparing him for the next level.
He started in front of 100k people in his home state. In the end, looks like he got one hell of a deal.

Probably off to North Carolina. Good luck to him in Chapel Hill.

Best of luck to BH. He rode out some tough times here. I still think he has some huge potential.

sucks he came here and had to sit under the worst QB development coach of any major college program

I'm glad he is gone. He should have went to Grambling anyway.

Best of luck to Brandon, agreed this is the best decision for him. Do not think he fits in the offense Canada wants to run. I hope they were being honest with him in that.
How does he not fit Canada's offense? Canada has stated multiple times he adapts to the talent he has.

Good luck Brandon. Thank you for being a Tiger ! God bless.

Why is it that when a player does not make it that its always the Coaches fault?? Its always that he is not coached or developed and that is all BS. It goes both ways like the Player needs to get better by working out and practicing and trying to develop his skills!! Then he ends up Transferring or whatever and always makes it look like he was screwed in the Process. Maybe when he was the QB and LSU had no Offense and then a new QB comes in and they get 600 yards that should be like an eye opener like what was I doing wrong!!!

Not even close. Please go watch the one I linked. He had no one around him.... he planted...and threw to a Wisconsin player like he was the intended receiver. It almost looks like he did it on purpose. At least your video shows contestation for the ball.
