He will bring to this offense what we have been waiting a long time for. He will be great. Book it.

Good for him... but I haven't seen any indication that he will be any good here. Couldnt beat out Etling, McMillan looked better in the Spring, and he couldn't beat out Burrow. I just dont see the hype.

that's it? Based on you 'think he has a better arm', and nothing else, you have concluded he gives us the best chance to win? OK

That he "has a better arm " or maybe not, there is a lot more the staff has to take into consideration than that when choosing the starting QB.

What's wrong with you degenerate a-holes. The kid is a dedicated tiger. We're lucky to have a patient backup in the "transfer if I don't start as a true Freahman" age of college football. Having an experienced junior who's been in the program for 3 full years will be a blessing in 2020. So you a-holes can eat shite with your negativity. This place is a cess pool of assclowns and pussies

Psstt.. this holiday weekend nearly half of these posts are coming from Gump imposters. Typically it is about 40% in my estimation but a little more around holidays and whenever we have some recruiting momentum. Not just talking about inbreds in trailer parks. But shadow staff hired guns.

Brennan has better arm strength but needs more accuracy on longer passes. Does not have the poise of Jeaux and is a liability to run due to his lack of weight and doubt on being able to handle the punishment dished out by SEC DL. See Williams thugging out on Murray last night. Imagine a guy at least 15 lbs lighter getting that treatment.

I'm not buying that excuse. I've been watching Freshman and Sophomore QBs take over college football for at least the last 7 or 8 seasons.

So you dont think its premature to say that Brennan will be great in 2020 when 2019 hasn't even started yet?

Joe Burrow ranked 12th of 14th in completion rate, only above story and Fitzgerald from Arkansas and miss state.

Same for QBR and 9th in total yards I'm the sec.

To me that warrants a qb competition before proclaiming him next years stater.

It's not an excuse. It's a fact.

True Frosh or True Sophomores who are quality QBs are the exception.

When did sitting the bench make a player great? His greatness will be judged by his play on the field.

It is the one thing that at times can make this board a miserable place to get on. This board would be a lot better and probably more popular if chicken would get busy banning at least the most obvious and prolific Gump imposters posting on here.

I don't see a problem with this. There are 130 D1 schools. When schools are being in top ranked QBs every year because they want to get the best QB possible, the QBs who are good, but not as good as a freshman QB that was recruited.. What's wrong with transferring if you can play somewhere else?

Does any NFL team have QBs sitting on the bench who could be a starter somewhere else?

you know that wasn't even what the OP was saying? But you are right in that it is to early to say he will definitely be a great college QB before he has even played. Doesn't mean he doesn't have the potential and tools to be a great QB for LSU though. Most everyone, other that you, think he isn't ready yet or that he can beat out Burrow next season. We'll see though, would be great though if he did make those kinds of strides that quickly.

Don’t think that’s true anymore.
At least at other schools.

Don’t you love all the negative people that had to reply some negative comment to your positive one. Never let negativity in cause their goal is to drag others down and make them as unhappy as they are

Thank you brother. You are so right. I live in the light of optimism and I believe good things will continue to happen with Brennan at the helm. I was only stating how it is awesome he did not leave like some of the others and I believe he will great one day soon for the Tigers. I would think most Tiger fans would want that.
