Guess you were in the bathroom after Quinn dropped that one pass, because the next series Dupree was running the slot receiver and not Quinn.
but still 2 receivers in the game...

I pretty much watch for this kind of stuff every game.
so your goal in watching the games is finding stuff to be pissed off about?

quote:Duke Williams, Amari Cooper, Laquon Treadwell and Ricky Seals-Jones are currently better. We have good talent, but nobody we have would make those guys sit. Dural will be behind those guys on any All-conference team.
LSU's receiver talent is ridiculous. Unfortunately, Les prefers to play two tight ends and a full back while putting only one of those receivers in the game at a time.
My point isn't that LSU lacks talent, it's that there isn't some incredible amount here that dictates we should win every game. Lots of teams have talent.

does my JD/MBA count as highly educated or are you hoping for something much more educated than that?
Let me know if you need an explanation on either.

No... with a capable head coach you would probably have 06,07,11, maybe even 13. You are a terrible fan for sitting by and allowing this to continue.
Yeah. How dare we allow lsu to keep a coach with THE 3RD HIGHEST WIN % IN SEC HISTORY.
Miles also garnered that great win % during the greatest era for sec football EVER.
I HATE OUR ENTITLED AND IGNORANT FAN BASE.

Cause I love the Tigers, and I want to see them succeed. Watching what we did last night, and have done this entire season on offense, is not going give us a chance to win against good teams. Last night was a Derp-fest on who wanted to lose most. I will admit that LSU's offense didn't do anything to beat itself, but we have games on the back half of this schedule that will require more than 13 passing yards in the first half. How many yards passing did we have before the busted Florida coverage on 3rd and 20? I don't think you can game plan for the hope of a total meltdown by your opponents defense.

The guy who posted he would give up the 07 natty to get rid of Miles is obviously on the extreme side of the spectrum... anybody who is a fan of LSU would never want them to lose.
But, posters who question Miles decisions are vilified by Miles apologists. It's ridiculous that a handful of posters attack and act superior if anyone's opinion is different from theirs.
Ballscaster is one of those guys. Don't be like him.

All this guy and ballscaster do on this board is argue with people about Miles. Its pointless to engage them.

Don't bother. He and Ballscaster have the same M.O. Criticize others' intelligence and talk about sidewalk fans. It's trite and tiresome.

If memory serves me correctly, we weren't given a shot by most on this board (even myself)to beat Johnny Football the first time we played him
It doesn't. We were favored in that game in 2012, ranked in the top 10 while they were barely in the top 20.

What would say, the nation's 10th best team do against this LSU schedule?
Probably win 9 or 10 games and not get blown out 41-7 by anybody.

My goal is to watch a game from a coach's point of view. What are teams doing to attack their opponents? What new wrinkles have been added? What adjustments are being made? What players were open that the qb missed seeing them? What player missed a block/made a block to make a difference in that play? What great route was run by the receiver to get open?

I didn't say that LSU had the most talented receiver corps in the nation. I said that we are very talented. The guys you named are all from different teams anyway. They aren't all on one team.
Of course our receivers aren't going to win any post season awards. We throw for 13 yards in a half. It's not the receivers fault that our go to receiver last night was the fullback.

quote:9 is possible. 10 is farfetched. 8 is what I predict. I guess my point is that since four teams on LSU's schedule are better than the tenth best team in the country, 8-4 is nowhere near mediocre by any stretch.
Probably win 9 or 10 games
LSU is better than Wisconsin, who is in the 30's. That already disqualifies LSU from being mediocre.

Wow.
Against the West? Who is this #10 ranked team?
Are auburn fans bitching about scheme HC and their QB after they were mud stomped by MSU I wonder?

At what position do you see LSU having clearly superior talent than other, top-level SEC teams?
So you spend most of your post explaining to us that LSU doesn't have better talent than good SEC teams, but then, despite said lack of talent (your opinion), you somehow see...

a really bright future
Are we going to get more talented to achieve this really bright future? Wouldn't that require at least a couple of recruiting classes and then an additional couple of years for them to develop? Or will our SEC rivals get less talented?
Posted on 10/12/14 at 12:36 pm to Tigerinthehollow
We were slightly the better bad team last night and everything's fixed. Lol

Lucking into a win does not change that.
100 wins isnt luck. You arse holes said we would never win another sec game. Eat crow and stop being a fricking vagina.
This team will go 8-5 and set us up for 2 more good seasons before Les rides out and we sink back to 3 win seasons like the rest of you guys have been waiting for since 2005.

I saw a defense that was put out on the field at the end to stop Florida from first down on the 2 yard line...
That's when we put them on the field? Well, then, who did we put on the field on the play before that when Florida was on their own 25?
