FWIW, Per one publication:
Rettig
Strengths: Arm Strength, Size
Needs to Improve: Running Ability, Mobility
After missing most of his junior year with a knee injury, Rettig learned to watch the game closer and pick up on the mental side of it more. He's got a good strong arm and good size, but his decision making was lacking at times. That said, this spring, you saw better decision making in 7on7. His knee seems to be 100%.
Jennings
Strengths: Arm Strength, Release, Size
Needs to Improve: Accuracy/Consistancy, Ball Handling
Jennings can get the ball downfield with an easy flick of his wrist. He is comfortable in the pocket and throws well on the move. He is a capable runner, but he is definitely a pass first quarterback at this stage of his career. Needs to protect the ball in the pocket and when he's running. He needs to be more consistent on intermediate and long routes. He has good touch underneath, but tends to overthrow the longer routes
Harris
Strengths: Arm Strength, Pocket Awareness, Running Ability /Mobility
Needs to Improves: Release, Technique
Harris has one of the strongest arms in the 2014 class. He can make any throw college coaches look for a quarterback to make. He can throw with velocity or touch. He has a great feel in the pocket, he can extend a play with his legs, and he can stick the ball into tight windows. He is a dual-threat QB, but he is a pass first guy who will sit into the pocket. He can still improve his footwork and release

The thing that I have not seen on this board discussing the QB battle is with regard to Harris. I saw him play in the playoffs last year and the biggest takeoff I had on him was how similar he was to JFF with his ability to escape the rush and turn a bad situation in to a postive one. This is an intangible that can only be measured by his play on the field.
I actually believe that Rettig is the best passer of the three. His experience in a spread offense probably gives him the best base for learning and executing a complex passing game including reads. JMHO

Wisconsin loses their entire front seven. We will run it down their throats. We'll have the next two games to "practice" our throwing. IMO, we shouldn't need it though.
This. Expect a very conservative game plan (regardless of who the starting QB is) for the first 3-4 weeks and hopefully by the time we get to the meat of the SEC schedule where we will have to pass the ball effectively to win we will be good enough at it by then.

This is why Jennings will start and why I think he'll be successful. He's a very good athlete and a good quarterback. But he has greatness in him and he won't stop working and learning until he is the best. Isn't that what everyone wants in their qb?
Jennings reminds me a lot of Matt Flynn. Good athlete (not great, but good enough to pick up yards on the ground if he has to), high character, smart, hard worker. Basically nothing flashy about his game but he will get it done. At least that's what I hope because I think he will be our starter next fall

YES OP Jennings is #1! Why do you and others on this sight ask retarded questions??
Jennings has COLLEGE game time experience totally different than high school.
Brandon HARRIS didn't even know what order to throw at the targets in all star qb challenge. You want him reading SEC defenses next season??

I'm sure Harris will develop into a good ball player, but he isn't ready for the SEC. Jennings has alot to learn but he'll improve.
Remember having a 247 account and posting 50 times a day doesn't mean you know football. It just means you like talking about it.

He had a pretty meh game in the bowl. But, if Cam can build on the last Arky drive and make that play consistent, I think we'll all have white stains in our pants come January. The kid flashes brilliance. It's up to Cam to bring it out of him.

Until otherwise demonstrated, this is probably the case.

So no chance he develops before August....I see....good logic!

I also think this guy's don't realize how meh most guys look as back ups to the starters in very little playing time. I've seen numerous guys who's first year with less than 40 passes looks like they'll need the hand of God to get better, but they somehow do get better and they have varying degrees of success for the program. People who are writing off a true freshman in one start against a 6th ranked pass defense with a vanilla gameplan, confuse the shite out of me.
