Meh. He said Hester shouldn't be playing in front of Williams too.

Cajun Cannon Jr. is just not strong enough yet for the S.E.C., which is compounded by the injury from last year.

If Miles/Stud had any foresight, they should have moved Hitt to Center back in the Spring, which would have given them a bigger, stronger and more experienced Senior athlete at that important position. Blackwell could have handled Hitts RG position. T-Bob's just not quite ready for Prime Time yet. Lonergan should at least be getting some snaps in case Hebert goes down. How do you build quality depth without giving the backups ANY playing time at all?

Lonergan has about 20lbs and an inch or so on T-Bob. He also played baseball in high school and is probably the fastest/ most athletic offensive lineman on the team. FACT

If his dad is a dentist, he also is probably pretty smart. He also isn't coming off of knee surgery. He got lots of reps last fall running scout team, and also in the spring (didn't they hold TBH out of spring practice hitting?).

I heard T Bob was grading out higher than any other linemen.

As far as the linemen, he has been playing better than most.

Obviously none of you that are hating on T-Bob watched the game closely. He is performing the best out of any lineman. Just because our running game is terrible doesn't mean it's the centers fault. Bobby has nothing to do with this, it's not like he went to LSU he just happens to have a son that is a beast at football. Grow Up!!

not hating on T-Bob or Dworziack for that matter either. Just that another year in the weight room would have done both of them a lot of good before becoming starters. That being said, there just isn't upper class depth that could have allowed that to happen.

At a minimum, he should have played meaningful minutes during the first four games.
The one we have needed/needs all the game reps he can get.

I'd love to hear this argument

The argument goes like this: he cannot perform worse.

I think Tbob has done okay.. he's just physically limited at this point in time.

Maybe T-Bob is better at recognizing defenses

My dad's dentist is PJ's dad and he and I were talking yesterday (my dad) and he said he went to see his dentist last week and asked about LSU and how PJ is taking this. he said that PJ is disgusted with the lack of play time and that he was told he'd get some time. PJ's dad said he is keeping his mouth shut becuase he is afraid to make the situation worse and he could walk.

Guess that desire to keep things quiet didn't work out so well since it's now its on the internet on this site (and apparently on talk radio in BR).

arguments in this thread in favor of a change:
pj's dad's a dentist, so he must be pretty smart
he was a good baseball player and a more versatile athlete
tbob's last name is hebert, so there must be something funny going on
any change must be good on offense
