I'm glad Bear Bryant isn't alive to see all these coaches being persecuted for being drunk all the time....

Well I sure don't want Chief back, but FWIW the A&M board is blowing up for sure. Whether it's true or not, some are saying Sumlin has screwed up big time and there's no way he'll be back next year. Of course, it is their version of the Rant....
Everyone needs to buckle up(Posted on 12/16/15 at 2:28 pm)
"The next few days/weeks are going to be rough on anyone who is a fan on this program barring a dramatic change in the course of events.
Kevin Sumlin has been delicately balancing a house of cards for about 18 months and Kyler leaving is the piece that will cause it to fall. Calls are being made, bridges are being burned and every skeleton in the closet is about to come out.
I was told emphatically to not expect Sumlin here next year. And that might not even be the worst of it. If/when he's fired, I can go into details. Some of it will shock you."

"I'll say this: We'll have no trouble coming up with cause.
And he'll probably never coach at this level again unless he signs some sort of deal that A&M has to keep our mouths shut if he agrees to leave."

But what did he doooooo

Aside from maybe Bama under Saban, how is that hyperbole? You people are morons if you don't understand just how talented LSU has been in the Miles era, especially during the Chavis era on defense

Sumlin getting fired would be a blessing for them. Hope they don't get Herman.

Chavis sued the school.
he will never coach here again.

what you are saying is correct. don't worry about it.
chavis thought going to a&m with an offense was going to be better.. and they were worse than us on both sides.
any ways, this really is the definition of karma.. in so many ways.
he goes there for offense, and they struggle even at the qb position lol.. and the other reason he wanted to be guaranteed through a contract with miles.. and now sumlin may be gone before miles..

This is the guy everybody was glad to get rid of, the guy who mailed it in in the Music City Bowl, right? I know the Rant has a short memory, but come on...

chavis recruiting was very weak lately as well. at least we addressing serious defensive needs (particularly linebacker) now

Him and the hat were pretty cordial at the game. Question is, would he want to come back and would Miles want him back.

Rumor is that A&M covered up a DUI for Sumlin
Posted on 12/16/15 at 3:45 pm to MightyYat
If it is all true he deserves it for the way he treated the LSU players during that debacle.
No way he comes back to LSU. The players don't want him and neither does LSU.
