I feel much better now. Thanks.

Can you honestly say that Les gets the most out of his offensive players

Agree with everything in the article.

The defense will not carry the team next year if everybody goes pro. The offense will HAVE to produce.

If they don't, it could be an extremely disappointing season.

Miles hinted that some changes could be coming with his “adjustment has to be made” declaration following the loss to Clemson, which was LSU’s third postseason setback in the past four years.

I take that to mean that Ensminger is probably gone.

Are you a player or are you actually Miles? Dipshit. The dude got a raise and a 7 year extension. As long as he doesn't lose more than 3 a year, he could give a shite

Hasn't he said things like this before?

Standard Les Miles-esque answer.

"We're working hard to fix it and I like what I see"

Chris wrote the truth that is so obvious to all of us, so when will LSU get it, if ever?

Coach Miles will fix it has he has always promptly fixed issues in the past.

we've been waiting on an OL and QB every year since 2007. 2011 was the one aberration (with OL only)

why hasn't miles fixed the OL and QB issues?

I can't believe all of the back-stabbing, disloyal, ungrateful and despicable NegaTiger negativity around here.

LSU lost by one lousy point, and now we have a new TV show "Everybody Hates Miles."

Well, Coach isn't going anywhere. He just got a raise and a very long contract extension.

We believe in Mano a Mano Power football -- between the tackles. And we win over 80 percent of our games doing so.

Coach Miles will fix it has he has always promptly fixed issues in the past. He is a very pro-active coach in that he sees and fixes problems before they BECOME problems.

Champagne, I'm not going to bash you for your thoughts and opinions-you have a legit right to them, but dude, have you not been watching what we've been watching? The only things that have rescued a lot of wins these last few years is incredible individual talent and effort, timely takeaways and fortunate mistakes by the other teams.(UT 2010) If it weren't for timely takeaways, incredible individual performances by Claiborne and Mathieu last year, we probably lose two or three games last year. It certainly was NOT coaching that won 12 games last year. Heck, it wasn't coaching that won 10 this year. We're very fortunate to have these ten wins. I love LSU football, but I told a Gator friend of mine in 2005 that Miles was nothing more than a "caretaker coach" and he's proven me right. Now that there is enough distance in time away from the program that Saban built,(and it was a dynasty in the making) we're seeing how it has degenerated until now we're at this point.

half of our schedule this year was disappointing. bama is about to win their 3rd title in 4 years after embarrassing us a year ago in the title game. what do you expect out of the fan base?

it's a tough time to be an LSU fan. it's not the worst, bu it's tough. Miles is the same Miles that he was in 2005, and we have to wait for him to fix the same issues as always. Saban is dominating and it's frustrating to watch him take a "Down" team and play for another title when last year we said 2012 was our year

He hit the nail on the head . Miles needs to get the Offensive side of the ball moving or he will be moved in a few years.

I don't think it's a case of everybody hates Miles...it's just the fans are tired of watching an ineffective offense blow close games when the college football world is going to a more open spread scheme. If CLM gets with the times, the Tiger Nation will be behind him. But it's hard to be positive when you know the talent is there but not being utilized.
Time will tell.

Speaking of expectations, Miles said this on Dec. 5, after leveraging the extension:

" The opportunity to be here seven years and continue success and hopefully continue to exceed expectations is what we've set as the mark."

How's that working out after one month?

Better to be a NegaTiger than to elevate the coach above the program as so many Miles lovers have.

Miles did not do a good job in 2012.
The NC game was an embarrassment compounded by Miles quitting in the 3rd quarter.
This season we beat 3 teams with less than 5 losses, and one of those was Towson.

This is quite simple: The state of Louisiana has more NFL talent per capita than any other state in the country. There is ZERO reason why LSU can't have a Top 25 offense. Les has a responsibility at 4 mill a year to realize the obvious, especially when this has been a year in and year out problem.

Yes. Coach Miles grew up playing offense. That's his specialty. He is an expert in the Art of Playing Offense in the Game of Football.

He knows what he's doing and is very pro-active. The offense will improve on it's Chicken Bowl 4th Q performance. Book it.

Of course, evaluating player potential is not an exact science. Sometimes, the player fails to execute. Coach Miles would never throw a player under the bus, however, so, there are times when it APPEARS that Coach Miles made a mistake, but, it's really the player's fault.
