TRY and MAKE...exactly.

My girlfriend has two daughters that live with us. She sends them to a babysitter every SL, LSU and Saints game.

The tree in our home as been up since Thursday. she herself has said that it can wait until after Monday to decorate. With LSU colors, which is her choice.

Also, my grandfather, who lived an 1 1/2 hours away from me, died last night and I am still watching both the game this afternoon and the BCS countdown tomorrow instead of being with my family.

Just sent my wife and kids out to the movies and shopping for Christmas with grandma, and a few of my buddies are on the way to watch the game here.

Dude, sprout a pair.

I just have a hard time believing that people really think that watching a football game, even if it is the seccg, is more important than spending time with your family.

Your response should be "you and the kids have fun, I'll see you later."

There will be other LSU Sec. Championship games but this could be the one of the few opportunities you have to spend quality time with your wife and kids at Christmas time. So just remember what is most important and what really counts. Tonight when its all said and done you will be able to look your wife straight in the eyes and say honey now that were back home could you, would you please retreive my balls from your purse.

You should have handled this by now..... I have three kids under 5 yrs. old. Went to Celebration in the Oaks last night, took them to the playground this morning and will spend the day with them tomorrow. But today from 3pm until I pass out is for me.

How unfair can your wife be? you are asking for 3 hours for a game. She has 22 more days for Christmas. Where is her concern for your likes and desires as a man. This is nothing more than an attempt by her to see what she can get away with, who's really in charge. I hope you turn her down in a polite and sincere way.

The problem is she is a nurse and works every other weekend. She has to work next weekend and then also Christmas.

I'm no CSI...but I play one on the rant...

first, you watch too much Oprah...

secondly, you were an only child and your mother still irons your socks

third, you have never ACTUALLY watched LSU play an entire game in your life.

My kids fight me for the best chair when da Tigahs play....

Options for the husband/OP.

1. Go ahead and go......BUT........what the husband misses during the game the wife will have to make up for in the bedroom. For every point scored by both teams is a nite this month she will have to peform her wifely duties if he has to perform his husbandly duties.......fair?

2. Man up and tell her no. Youve dealt with alll kinds of B.S. ALLLL year long and you cant watch the SEC championship game? Aww naww HELL NAW!

3. Bribe your way out of it. Tell her and the kids you got something REALLY special for them this Christmas.

4. Dont go and take them to see either Sherlock Holmes, Hugo, Tin Tin or MI4 this month.

5. Bow down before your wife. As many a men long before you since the beginning of time have found out, a happy wife = happy marriage and a pissed off wife = Lorraina Bobbit. You do the math.
