Miles is the coach, will be the coach next year and will be fired if necessary. Its time to quit piling on and support your team.

This.

Lets support the seniors this Sat !!

2 more wins would be a good way to end season...

Folks, I am not trying to flame, but that sounds to me as if Miles, rather than take responsibility to correct the situation, is trying to shuffle off more responsibility onto the players. I am sorry, but in that situation, the HEAD COACH should be the person responsible for making that determination.

he called a team meeting on Sunday and apologized for fricking up at the end of the game. I want him gone, but he took responsibility

"Now we're fourth down and 26, and it's a much different scenario. What I am doing and the mistake that I make is I go to the next play, and I'm talking about what's injured, what's not, who's on the field, the plays that need to be made and trying to review quickly what needs to be and what needs to take place on fourth and 26. I let the clock get away from me. It's my fault. It's my mistake. Finally, I get the timeout called, and now it's a nine-second game."

Did you not hear his press conference??

The real time management issue that effects the whole game is how long it takes the coaches to the get the plays into the offense and they burn too many time outs and take drive killing delay of game penalties throughout the game or a few players are confused at the snap and the play blows up.

We need a new play communication system. PERIOD>

almost auburn 2007 game.

If someone coach TEACH Miles clock management 101 I think almost ALL the monkeys would fall off of his back. Seriousily does www.ncaa.com have anything that is remotily close to these issues and teach this staff and players how to effectivily use a clock!!!!!

This...people need to quit using Auburn 2007 as an example of Miles fricking up.

Where did I say anything about forgiving Miles. What you need to understand is that he will be on the field Saturday coaching these seniors in their last game in Tiger Stadium. We lost my last game in Tiger Stadium and to this day when I look at my helmet in my office I get a sick feeling about it. Just because you don't feel satisfied with the level of criticism of Miles over this incident reaching a point that may help you sleep better, Miles is the coach, will be the coach next year and will be fired if necessary. Its time to quit piling on and support your team.

thanks for the post, and anyone planning on booing Saturday should stay home. This game is a huge one for perception of the team and fans, so for those so inclined, boo on your couch and give your ticket to someone who will come out to support the team on Saturday.
