If we can run effectively, we win that game.

It helps, but this game isn't going to be decided based on whether or not we can run it. It's going to be decided based on whether we can protect Burrow enough to not be hindered in the passing game...and obviously based on whether we can slow down Alabama at all.

I think you could just as easily argue that having Burrow and a deep group of talented receivers has actually benefitted CEH. Opposing defenses are committing numbers to defend against the pass. Clyde has run at favorable boxes all year.

The only thing that needs to change about CEHs workload is TDP needs to be in on redZone running downs.

You’re right. CEH has that intangible It-factor of being a student of the game. He gets football and competes at different level than a lot of other “more talented” players we’ve had.

Jacob Hester had that same thing, which turned a 2* recruit into a 5* player.

If youre only complaint about a running back is that he gets chased down by safeties when he breaks out down field, I'll take it. Sure he's missing that "extra gear" downfield, but he's for sure doing his part by averaging over 6 yards every time he touches the ball.

It doesnt help the younger backs cases when the few times they get in the game, you can almost guarantee theyre getting the ball. The defense knows it. With a little work with the jugs, those freshman RB's will be great.

The jump cut against Florida when he said nope to the defender in the hole was absolutely nuts.

That's absolutely correct. My comment was more geared towards recognition.

What I like most is that little side step he does to find the hole.
