His biggest upsides are his ability to make people miss and his catching ability. He’s not straight away fast, but he’s quick and twitchy. I think he would fit in nicely at Baltimore.

Higher

Don't know that but it seems as though the NFL wants this massively bigger backs.

CEH is a great guy. Wish him well, and I think he will do wonderful things. However, I think life as Junior / Senior at LSU is A LOT BETTER than trying to grind into the NFL!

Would love to see him in Sean Payton’s offense
The guy can flat play and a lot of it is just his mental makeup
He will have success in the league

I’m very surprised he’s not a 1st rd projection

5’7” RBs don’t really go in the 1st. Should go in the top 60 tho as long as combine is solid

He had an incredible season where his team finished undefeated with a national championship. He is fresh on everyone's mind right now with the season he had. He had over 100 yards against Clemson, Bama, Auburn and Florida - 4 top 20 scoring defenses. It would be nearly impossible for him to top the 6.6 ypc he averaged this year on the ground (along with his phenomenal receiving game impact).

If he gets drafted in the 2nd-3rd round as projected, he’ll be doing just fine “grinding it out” in the NFL with his 6 figure salary.

He has to go where a power runner is already established

What is this, 1997?

CEH is a perfect fit for today’s game.

I’ve been telling the clowns on this board Clyde will be a first rounder. I’m usually right so the Clyde doubters will have lots of crow to eat
I don't think Clyde goes in the first round, but that shouldn't make me a "Clyde doubter". He will probably go somewhere between late 2nd and early 4th. Will be a fantastic value pick IMO. Just like AK was for the Saints.

You’re right he should be he’s proven more than any back in the draft that he’s NFL ready and can produce vs top competition. The Draft process is far from an exact science that’s why you see Hall of Famers like Tom Brady fall to the 6th round that’s why you see dominant players like Derrick Henry fall behind scrubs and that’s why you see consummate long lasting productive stars like T.J. Houshmandzadeh fall to the 7th round after running 4.4 flat. Anybody who followed these players through college knew they’d be very good pros but somehow scouts and admin didn’t think they could play. CEH will have a long productive career because he can do everything a back is required to do at the next level on day 1.

bullshite you can read post I made saying Henry should be the first or second back taken and should’ve been an upper first rounder. At 6-3, 247 he ran better than Von Miller and with his attitude and work habits he was a cant miss.

What about Tom Brady, which had an extremely mediocre college career and combine And no one ever thought he was that type of guy?

What about the laundry list of players you watch in college and think are going to be great only to never make it?

It’s hindsight as hell

Well I wasn’t here to post about Brady numbnuts but he was a killer at Michigan and anybody who watched him play knew he’d be a good pro. It doesn’t mean I thought he’d be what he is but I knew he’d be a good player and better than a lot of the the bums taken before him. Besides you’re making a straw man, I’m talking about obvious misses in the draft not saying I nail every pick 100%.

his own coaches didn’t know if he was good enough to start for a majority of his career at Michigan

That’s just a silly statement, also inferring that the entire league didn’t watch 1000 times more of his college career than you ever did

Dobbins is not all that good an rb. Don't know what u see in the guy,my opinion no doubt Edwards helaire should be taken ahead of Dobbins. My opinion is Dobbins a 4th rounder and has less successful NFL career than Edwards helaire and Clyde should be 1stround. Here is why. Dobbins can't catch a tennis ball, can't catch a tennis ball, can't catch a ball, does not have the vision Clyde has, does not have the power Clyde has, and certainly can not catch like Clyde can. But Dobbins is strong upper body and is taller than Clyde so I give u a little credit. Now get out of here u piece of shittt

I envision him going in the 2nd to a team like Miami or Atlanta...but anyone who gets him will be extremely happy after he gets on the field.
