He looked pretty light footed last week considering his size. He’s definitely not as slow as last season

I hope you are correct but unless you are part of this coaching staff, I don't know how you can be so certain on what they are going to do.

I agree the coaching staff is generally crap. But they played a specific D vs MSU because of the Air Raid and it worked, mostly. That’s the D to play vs 65 passing plays.

I’m not suggesting the coaches will have a good game plan. But I agree with poster that we absolutely do not run the Air Raid D vs Auburn.

How can we say he’s faster when
1. He played Georgia state
2. He had 3 runs for 16 yards with his longest run being 15 yards.
I don’t see how people say he is a run threat.

After hearing about this I'll bet he finds the motivation to run faster.

You’re defending TJ. I would argue the defense last year was on the field more because of bad reads and miss throws by TJ. Stats back it.

I would Argue his starts came against the onoy good defenses on the schedule and the stats actually prove it.

I just sit back and laugh when I read these threads about Finley. I went on record about him a few years ago and was ripped to shreads for it.

Y’all said Max was better than everyone because of his mobility.

10 yards through 4 games. Finley has 16.

Honestly, last year, he used his feet really well in his two starts and ran for close to 100 yards and a few TDs. This year it seems like he never wants to take off. I do think it would make LSU's offense better if he would take off sometimes like he did last year. I'm sure it would help to sustain more drives too. QBs always tend to run more when they first start out and then take off less the more they play, but without a running game, LSU needs him to run sometimes.

Dude was a true freshman with no running game and the sorriest lsu oline in a generation. I don’t hold last year against him. Is he max or Myles? No. Is he pretty good? Yes.

some of y’all stating he was a “Run Threat” with a poor 1.2 yrds per carry

Max, the real run threat, has a career 1.7 per carry... none of these guys were true dual threat

I would be an Lsu db intercepted it.

The fact of the matter is TJ does not protect the ball. Great arm talent but questionable decision maker.

We won’t be kind of he plays. He already showed his tendencies to force balls in spring and that’s why he plays for Auburn now.

There is one of the missed TD throws.

Poor speed by the other team. Different level of athleticism LSU has.

He turned his back in the same fashion Max Johnson did and doesn’t stay looking down field. He played Georgia state, who does not have SEC speed. He would have been sacked or touched in at least 4-5 of those plays on that drive.

Your trolling is poor AF. Trying to reason with you is pointless. We’ll let the game tell us if you or I was right.
