Irishref, but it was not a "gracious post." Your post was filled with cheap shots and excuses.

Classless when an opposing coach yelled out "that's bull shite" when one of our players went down. Replay the game and is right there for the whole nation to see. Another time he was clearly was seen yelling "mother frickers". So he's an emotional coach. Maybe we restrain ourselves, but our true feelings come out when we get too emotional. I bet he hates LSU.

Either LSU was employing the pretend to be hurt method of stopping a fast offense (like people do against Oregon and the Giants did so obviously) or the LSU defense wasn't in shape to keep up. Cramping in 60 degree weather? Thought SEC was so tough. The field was littered with LSU defenders.
did the classless WVU fans boo your own offensive players when they got "hurt" for slowing down the pace too? There were a few of those as well...
and I guess you are overlooking your own players cramping as well...
oh did you see the Oregon game...it was indoors and Oregon was cramping too...
it does not matter if its indoors and/or 60 degree weather....the pace those players play you are losing fluids quickly...
keep running your mouth proving you know nothing what you speak of...

T-Bob was slowing down the tempo for our punt team?!

Yea, Phil Collins needs to learn some sportsmanship.

1. LSU has to be number one. Beat three top 25 teams in neutral or road games. Oklahoma may be better but hasn't done anything yet.
REPLY: Would rather be number 1 at the end of the season, not a big deal now. Thanks for the compliment.
2. LSU did what any good team will. Took advantage of opponent mistakes. The special teams and two of the turnovers were real gifts not to mention the short versus long field position.
REPLY:Were not WVU mistakes, those were LSU take ways. That's what we do.
3. The adult LSU fans were very good. We had a young moron two rows back who's drunken behavior only encouraged the drunken WVU moron in my row.
REPLY:Every fan base has them.
4. Congrats to the WVU offensive line. What an amazing job of protecting Geno!
REPLY: Excellent choke holding skills on about every play by WVU OL. OL also has great tackling skills in pass protection. These tactics are called holds in the rest of the football world. Also, LSU's defensive scheme had a little bit to do with Geno's yards accumulation. We just kept the ball in front of us. Aloso, we never pressured Geno. A few missed tackles allowed some big plays and a score. I'll take the W instead of yards.

REPLY:I thought I saw quite a few WVU players go down as well.We did not fake at Oregon and did not need to here.
6. No 7 is a beast for LSU. Give him the game ball. Without his two turnovers could have been a much different outcome.
REPLY:MT7 is a beast, he was gonna get the ball. No need to worry. Like I said before it's what we do.
7. Hope y'all make the BCS championship game. Geaux Tigers.
REPLY: One game at a time. I hope so too!
Bottom line: LSU was the better team. We made our share of mistakes just as WVU made theirs. Its football and why you play the game. Geno is a legit passer. Thanks for the props and hope y'all do well in the ACC.

quote:I guess it's possible, but there's never even been a hint of that on this board. Players are hurt in almost every game. But, I guess it's natural that teams that play up tempo would wonder. I really don't think it applies here though.

THE TRUTH is you pass the ball 65 times against LSU and you will never win. You will never be close. This was a 4 touchdown victory on the road against a top 20 team in a hostile stadium. We ran it down your throats in the 4th quarter.
Special teams ate your lunch. ATE IT.
we should have had more turnovers.
We knew coming in we would get a bunch of turnovers. Truly thought we would have had even more.
Your gimmicky offense gets yards but like others we have played with gimmicky offenses - we usually come out way on top.
Enjoy!

I dont think I've ever seen a coach act like such a little bitch on a field before.

had RR not dropped an easy TD on the 1st possession of the 2nd half, it would have been 34-7 at that point

Nice post for the most part irishref. You have a good team and an especially evil passing game. I doubt anyone does that to us again unless Chavis allows every opposing QB 4 seconds to throw.
