This is a significant loss that damages the LSU football brand.
LSU fans like myself could not wait until LSU got the chance to play schools like FSU.

BK comes in with his WR/RB playing QB and gets LSUs arse whipped 2 years in a row. LSU won’t get a chance at revenge for at least 10 years.

you're never as good as you think you are after a win, or as bad as you think you are after a loss.

This old truth is magnified x100 on the rant.

The baseball team caused a lot of homers to become blowhards.

Reality check has been received

not being a title contender doesn't mean we should give up 31 unanswered points in a half of football.

We will walk in to November undefeated in the SEC. Book it.

You are the same guy who said Kelly owns Bama. He has had his arse whipped by Bama every time he played them but last year and he squeaked out a win in OT.

LSU will definitely have their hands full with Arkansas, Ole Miss and Auburn. Will they win or lose those games I don’t know but would be surprised if they dropped 2 of them.

Typical ranter. This is absurd

I won't say the ceiling but 4-5 losses seem very likely. Our D (especially the secondary) is poo and our offensive mindset is still vanilla/conservative. I just don't know how many shootouts that we're going to be able to win without drastic philosophical changes on offense.

Yep - good rule of thumb. If we don't recruit at a top 5 level, it's unlikely we'll be competitive. The portal is useful for filling in depth, but if you need them as a starter, it's not gonna be good. We have to recruit better, and retain high rated recruits with NIL money.

But, we looked orse last year because for 3 quarters we did nothing. Only close because of FSU late fumble. We were CLUELESS the whole game last year.

This year, came out firing on offense, but did not score on first drive, then another drive we missed 4th down, and we dropped a few passes, yet still led at half.

Second half, of course not so nice. However, more drops, and the key drop was Lacey on 3rd down. If he catches it he runs close to a TD and we score something, and a different game.

Masson Back on DL (And rotate them often so all are fresh)
Put Perkins back to hunting the QB, and applying pressure, especially quick slashing run blitzes
Replace with Penn III or White Weeks and let him ball
OL- Will, Delly, Martinez, Emery, Heard (Now we have the beef)
QB- Get Nuss in a few drives and let him sling it (Make JD shite or get off)

You hit the nail on the head. Actually, for me it was specifically playing FSU. Because I knew their dominance over us was all smoke and mirrors. They beat us during the Jerry Stovall years and Mike Archer and Curley Hallman years. And that was when they were at their pinnacle under Bobby Bowden. Had LSU played them during Saban and Miles for all of the 20 years, then the series would probably be tied at worst.

It was very similar with Texas A&M when they first entered the SEC. They thought they were this dominant team over LSU and we slapped them into reality quick. The same thing would happen with LSU/FSU if we played them every year. But they want to pretend like it's that FSU is that much better than us.

That's why I was foaming at the mouth with this two game stretch and now I'm even more pissed about it.

Saturday night all the rant was were threads on how overrated Bama and UGA looked and not if we could win at Bama but by how many.

Is this a self-reflecting thread directed to yourself or something? Let’s look at some of the stupid shite you posted leading up to the game

quote:

Bama and UGA wish they had a guy like Daniels

quote:

42-20 LSU

LSU -2 is easy money. Game will be over in the 3rd

quote:

Travis is the most overrated player in football and Perkins will prove that

quote:

Does anyone actually believe FSU can beat LSU?

LSU has every position group advantage, especially on defense. Daniels is much better than Travis and they don't have anyone in the front 7 that could start for LSU.

quote:

I just see the talent finally taking over in the 2nd and LSU pulls away in the 3rd.

44-21 LSU

quote:

It was just assumed we walked into Nov undefeated

Yeah, maybe you thought that. For as much shite this website likes to give peej, your retarded arse is 10x worse.

We’re a top 15 or so team that played poorly and got beaten soundly by a legitimate top 5 team.“

So why aren’t we a top 5 team?

I witnessed A LOT of good CFB all weekend. Other teams were scrapping, playing hard, looked organized and confident for a W1 opening weekend. It was LSU @ Lambeau all over again x2. Saban made LSU fans football savvy you know. Skip made LSU fans baseball savvy. We've been around. We've had our share of coaching staffs that didn't gel, that didn't know how to coach, that couldn't inspire the team to be tenacious. Baton Rouge has problems, once again, boys and girls with its flagship football program.
