This makes twice now that JJ has called out Miles and Crowton, whether intentionally or not.

Methinks JJ has no filter, and I love it.

JJ was trying to defend his coach. Pass plays were called so I doubt the quarterback had any argument with the play calling at the end of the Ole Miss game. Did Crowton make good decisions on play selection late in that game? No, but he did call a pass play to Ridley that lost seven so he must have had some confidence in him. Remember Auburn in 07 and 08. He called pass plays that worked when field goals would have tied or won the games. Miles defended him by saying that it's two chances to win. Touchdown or still kick the field goal. I would have played it safe in all three games and maybe we wouldn't have had that national championship and been 2 and 6 last year instead.

I'm like you..

sometimes I think he just wants to CYA on everything and ...
if he does not say anything concrete, no one can "pin him down on anything he said"...like a politician, except a bad politician

We are giving JJ's casual word way too much play here.

This is his interpretation.

Probably many of ya'll are loading this statement way too much meaning and significance-- as is usual for the Rant.

where is this from and in what context??

it could easily mean Crowton isnt familiar with what Ridley could do in a game situation because A)hes been hurt and B)he hasnt played in a meaningful game

Not to defend Crowton, but maybe he meant he does not know what Ridley is comfortable doing since the injury. Still no excuse though

It's all BS.

Anyone bothering to listen to this is wasting time. You can't possibly explain how you can have your QB drop back in the pocket on first down and barely elude the rush to throw it away still between the tackles.

Turn around and get him sacked on second down. Then, the same guy that you don't know what he can do comfortably on first down from the 30 gets a screen play behind the LOS called to him? How can you even remotely attempt to explain such BS?

It is complete and utter lack of preparation and mismanagement from the top to the bottom, and in between.
