Okay, and how did you feel about Browns first 3.5 years?

Do you want to come both Wade and Browns first 3.5 years at Lsu?
Do you really think this is a metric that should be used to determine which coach is better? There are other factors at play.
If you believe it is a good metric, let's compare Nick Saban's and Les Miles' first 3.5 years. Which in your opinion is the better coach?

I think its a fine metric to use when the program was in similar spots when the coach took over. It was close to in shambles both times. Saban got a Honda accord, miles got a ferrari, so no, that situation is not comparable

I agree with this.

Not even close. Basketball was not even on the map when Dale took over. If not for Pete Maravich people wouldn't even have know LSU had a basketball program.

We had those. And it got John Brady run out of town.

While true, Wade took over a program that was coming off the worst season in program history, and was two years removed from opting out of the NIT.
By his second year, LSU won the conference title outright, and earned a 3 seed in the tourney (their highest seed since 1981). He followed it up with a 2nd place finish the next year.
Regardless of their seeding this year, LSU will have earned back-to-back tourney appearances for the first time since 92-93.
Brown certainly built up the basketball program for over a decade, but let’s not act like Wade walked into a good situation at LSU.

When Wade gets to two Final 4s and two more elite 8s then u can ask question.

Dale Brown...creator of the “Freak” Defense. The run to the Final 4 in ‘86 was phenomenal as an 11th seed. They had to mix defenses against some high octane offenses, most notably Memphis, Georgia Tech, and Kentucky essentially taking Kenny Walker out of the game. Dale’s players knew their roles and egos were kept in check. Right now, based on Wins, Losses, and NCAA tournament appearances, Wade can’t sniff Brown’s jock BUT, it’s too early in Wade’s career to fairly compare.
