Stats can LIE. Daniels was BAD

I forgot those shouldnt count cause they were on the final drive against soft coverage. still had to make the throw and receiver had to make catch.

Daniel’s is a good quarterback but I think he left too many receivers open. He was too quick to scramble and run although the offensive line didn’t help either. Something needs to be done about our O line.

Daniel's play is the same as it was ASU. He is not and never will be an elite QB.

I get when it's garbage time, but we had a chance to tie or win. Oh, the irony...

2 things:
1. Daniels (and our OC) didn't figure anything out late in the game. FSU started playing 15-20 yards off the line of scrimmage, giving up short passes to prevent a big play.
2. Daniel's has to have better pocket presence. It's perfectly fine for an offensive tackle to let a DE go on the outside and push him further. Your QB has to be able to step under that rather than freaking out and trying to run backwards or around the guy. That led to additional holding calls and QB pressures that wouldn't have happened if Daniels stepped up.

When they start giving trophies for total yards and other stats, it will be important. Presently they give trophies to teams for crossing the goal line.

His accuracy looked fine, those fears are gone. Just needs to throw on the move.

He’s west coast former Florida QB Emory Jones

I’m trying to figure out how any of that cost us the game. He committed no turnovers, he had mediocre blocking, his best WR dropped two touchdowns, and he actually did play a very good game despite all of that.
You compared him to Joe Burrow, Drew Brees, and Michael Vick, but then say it wasn’t enough and you expect more from the kid in his first start?
He wasn’t perfect but he wasn’t blocking, returning punts, missing field goals, or dropping touchdowns either.
Your focus is severely misguided.

FSU knew from Arizona State film that all they had to do was keep him and receivers in front of them.
Rush three. Keep drop DBs and LBs and they had a chance.
Worked to perfection.
That's good coaching right there. (For 3 quarters at least)

He needs to learn how to read defenses and go through his progressions
It’s honestly unbelievable how stupid most of you are. The o-line is AWFUL. they got beat on every single snap. You can’t go through multiple progressions when you have no time in the pocket.

He had time to make throws on some plays douche

He is a running back/wide receiver playing QB. LSU will not win anything with him. Hopefully, LSU can go 6 n 6.

Go back and watch the highlights and give three examples of him tucking and running with a receiver open to throw to. Every time I saw him take off there was absolutely nothing to work with. What good is an incompletion if he can pick up 15 yards?

Did he snap the ball over his own head?
Did he drop a TD and fail to look for a second one?

He only had time for 1 read. What part of that don’t you understand?
