Your post reminds me of the best advice I ever gave my ex wife:
- Max out your 401k to the fed max every year

2nd best:
- stop being a drunk punchy whore

Its possible that he saw that the playbook book is the same as it has been for for years...

Thanks for spending time and your efforts as an LSU Tiger. You will always get to claim your affiliation with a very esteemed group, something that many thousands of others of us would die to do.

I am glad that you had an opportunity to compete for the #1 quarterback job for the Fighting Tigers. What an incredible opportunity you had! There have been many other very good QBs that came before you who never had that chance because they were stuck behind very talented returning starters. The job was wide open for you with no incumbent returning, yet you failed to win the job during spring. You had every chance to move ahead of the competition but you continued to be mired in the mix. We anxiously awaited someone to break out in the spring game and be THE MAN that would take our offense to new levels of performance and scoring. But no one did. So evidently Coach O & the staff evaluated the position group as less than adequate AT THIS TIME to produce the results needed in the most competitive league in college football. Most fans were hardly shocked at this assessment after viewing the spring game, and if you are realistic, I doubt that you are either.

I absolutely understand you desire to play. Few people want to practice, prepare, & sweat and then not get to showcase their talents on Saturday. But you should know the hazardous nature of big-boy football. You are just one turned ankle, or broken collarbone from moving into the starting role if you were still working hard here at LSU.

Lowell, I really believe that your ability would have gotten you on the field for a great number of crucial plays this year. You might have won several games for the Tigers this year and had very impressive stats. And to be able to do that as a RSFreshman would be very impressive & set you up for a great career. Tim Tebow was a situational guy as a freshman and his college career turned out pretty well!
But I understand your desire to be the guy at MGCC where you can play every down. But how much will you improve playing every day against JUCO instead of practicing against SEC talent. Not to mention the difference in quality of competition between playing on Saturday vs. Thursday. Nonetheless, best wishes this year.

To both of you former Tigers, best wishes wherever you end up. May your dreams and goals be realized.
