3. Oh noes... you got wet. Guess you don't like to shower either. 4. Cold? This is fricking Louisiana you fricktards. It must have been a bitch shoveling the snow away from your car at halftime to go home early.

Go take a shower for 3 hours at 74 degrees then sit down in a chair with a fan blowing on you for another 2 hours and tell me how you feel

How old are you loser? And I can assure you that I can afford to go to the games. I was at the TCU game also and STAYED UNTIL THE END!

Convenient you stayed until the end of a close game with a top 15 opponent in a domed stadium

1. You are way to mad lol.

2. Auburn is not a very good team, not UAB bad but not very good and it showed on the score board.

3. Again you are way to mad for 10am on a Sunday after a win or you are just trolling hard.

LOL, I may be weird, but that actually sounds pretty nice. Is the fan blowing on me a hottie?

I would hope not but the fact still remains that if we are no different than other college fan bases that's ok. However, we should not claim to be something we are obviously not. Myth vs reality. Kind of like "it never rains in Tiger Stadium." It's kind of cute to believe this but the reality is far from the myth.

"Death Valley" is a joke

So much has been written already in this thread that I agree with so I won't repeat. But Rex is right, "Death Valley" is a joke.

The team has never been better and the home field advantage has never been less threatening. It's nothing like it was from the late 60s through the 90s when I lived in or close to Louisiana and attended regularly.

Now I live 1,100 miles away and attend one game a year. Unless it's Bama or Florida or one of the few other SEC heavyweights, the atmosphere is stale.

And for perspective, in the past decade, I've attended games at Clemson, Ohio St., Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn St., Notre Dame, Bama, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina and Texas.

I don't have "back in the good old days" syndrome. The change in Tiger Stadium (not Death Valley) is real.

The rain is just an excuse for this week. The fans would have left early either way.

I don't consider myself to be some super fan at all but I just don't understand how a stadium is more than half empty in a SEC opener that was decided by two scores.

LSU fans talk about how we are some of the most passionate football fans in the country but nobody wants to stay and watch football. Kinda confusing.

If we aren't playing Alabama or a big time school tiger stadium just isn't the same anymore. It seems like the goal now is to see how quiet we can be during the game
I think people think it's cool to leave early. They say to themselves, "Everyone else is doing it," so they decide to leave early themselves.

Because, after all, what kind of person actually stays and watches the game?!

Stupid people with lame excuses make me mad. So whats your point? Do what you are going to do... but don't make stupid lame excuses. If you are a half arse fan... fine... but don't try and pretend you are something you are not by making bullshite excuses.

Ya, I'm raging.

Oh I know....people can do whatever they wanna do. That's fine. I just won't understand why football fans don't want to watch football.

Paying for tickets and leaving early is being more of fan than staying home and saying "if I could..., I would..."

How poor and lazy do you have to be? People were giving away tickets yesterday.

Why rage about what other people do with their tickets. Didn't know fandom was judged by how long they stay on a shitty night to watch LSU beat up on an over matched Auburn.

Just curious were you at the game?

Nothing Mr. tough guy. You already know you are a poor excuse. I don't need to tell you. You live with it daily. Me doing "anything" won't change anything.
