Stingley Sr is unreliable. He said Mo Hampton was the best safety in the nation, or one of the nest.

IMO Mo Hampton is a much better S than he showed last season. just MO

Ask Lou Tepper, Gerry Dinardo and their Drop Linebacker, assigned to cover Ward

Hines Ward had already left UGA by the time we had Tepper as DC.

Champ Bailey probably put up some numbers in 98 against us though. He was like their leading WR that year. Should’ve won the Heisman.

eta:

Champ had 7/114/ 1 TD receiving, 2/15 rushing, 66 yards returns in the 98 LSU game

I think a lot of guys are better than they showed (for example Clark, Ward and Flott)

Makes me really excited to see guys like Anthony and Gaye who showed out despite the shite show

Famous interview: Quincy Carter, Georgia quarterback was asked, what was the secret of his passing success vs Tepper's defense. Carter, I just threw to the open man.
Interviewer, and everyone of them was open?
Carter smiling, that's right.
Hines Ward was outstanding.

Quincy Carter never played with Hines ward lol

And Hines ward never even played against LSU

If Lee plays anything like Deebo we’re in great shape. Not sure if Lee is that explosive though. I hope he has a great season. Dude has a lot of

Stingley Sr also trains the LSU DB’s during the summer when LSU coaches cannot.

He did a bang up job last year.

Every time they'd interview Stingley Sr. last year he sounded defeated. He wanted to tear Pelini apart so badly but held back.

Yeah I guess I got Bailey and Ward mixed up.
This 79 year old brain lets me down occasionally.

I'd love to see Devonta play well so we can win that Amite battle. But I digress, SC-West got a great one when Ishmael Sopsher transferred there from Bama.

Kind of, but neither of these Amite players have lived up to their hype, yet. I really hope Devonta ends up being great.

And I wonder if Sopsher's change of scenery will turn out as well for him as it did for Gerald Willis, who most all thought was a bust.
