Quote me once ever this season saying JL shouldn't start, post-shady's. That's what I thought.

You cannot be serious. Our offense was horrendous last year. The only reason it was not in the 100's in both total offense AND Scoring was because of Lee coming in and saving some games. If JL had started last year, and JJ came in for situational type plays, it would have been better. Our O was awful last year, and I hope you are not stating it was better than this year's O...but i wouldn't be surprised if you were. This post is comical if you are saying the O was better last year than this year.

That is why we need a QB not ranked at the bottom of the league in passer rating.

That was last year. Last time I checked this is a new season. If we went based on past history JL would have NEVER gotten another shot at being QB for LSU.

quote:

Why do you think our O is clicking so much better this year

IMO because we have simplified it more and actually found an identity. O-line is improved. JL has played well but if you watch JJ in the past he was very good passing with play action.

I played college ball.

I don't beleive you if you truly can't see the advantages JJ brings to the team. Unless you were a kicker.

This is what I said:

Where in that did I make your absurd strawman claim? You people have the debate tactics of a four year old.

Name one thing I post that is not factual. Point out to me what I have said that was dumb? Please? I deal in reality and performance/output. There is no comparison from this year to last year. That is a fact. The problem is the JJ pumpers can't handle data that supports Lee, and exposes JJ for the bad QB that he was/is.

You laugh at my facts as if they are wrong! Tell me what facts are wrong? You can't. You can just make personal attacks, because you cannot attack the facts.

How did a thread about if JJ looked to be running faster turn into the same idiots trying to bash him? He was taken out at 3rd and long because Les wasn't ready for him to throw a pass. He looked to run well to me for being out for so long. We will get a better measurement of where he is at this week.

As the norm to your little pathetic schtick, your petty attempts at deflecting are fricking lame.

Anyone says any one thing positive about JJ, you and your little butt buddy Canton stroll in with the same verbal sewerage.

Are you so upset with JJ that you can't admit he is in better shape than ever before in his LSU career?

He has played 4 plays this year how the heck would that be able to be determined. I guess even though I played college football, I am a poor observer because I'll be honest, 4 plays doesn't tell me a whole lot about if someone is in shape. But for the sake of argument, let's say that he is. So what? Will that make him pass better? make better decisions? I don't think anyone has ever questioned whether he was in shape.

Glad he's back.

Still like Lee as the starter.

my quote: Objective posting; You should try it.

Your quote: back at you and everyone else in this thread. Ok. You say objective posting, back at me.

So I ask for an example of NON-objective posting.

You say I'm the First to claim JL isn't that good.

So I ask for a link, or a quote of anything I have said this season, post-shady's, that supports that. BTW, you won't be able to, because that is a false accusation.

You say I am "Gushing" about JJ after 3 plays, when if you would read my post history, or have a working memory and remember my comments this summer, I have said JJ looked much faster since the spring.

You are an arse. This entire thread was about JJ is faster. Nothing more, Nothing less. If you can't admit he is faster now than ever before, you are either blinded by hatred, or a poor observer of football.

Which is it?

Ok I'll take the bait. Since you keep throwing it out there about how you are a great observer because you played college ball..... where did you play? when? pictures? position?

Of course. It couldn't be that I see and analyze the facts, and the facts show that Jefferson is a better QB. [Although they have equivalent numbers throwing the ball, LSU runs much better when Jefferson is QB.] No, I must be related to Jefferson. Even though I don't have any posts about Jefferson in 2008.

quote:

keeps talking about the great finish he had....without keeping in mind playing two horrible passing defenses in ole miss and a&m. Heck, JJ was bad at arkansas...and ULM, during that stretch.
Clearly, any QB could have done well in those last five games . . . except that your gold standard, Calen Jarrett Lee.

Compare Last Five Games of 2011

Jefferson - Last Five Games 2010
53 of 86 (61.63%) for 788 yards; 9.16 ypa; 5 TDs; 2 Ints; Rating: 153.3
45 rushes for 169 yards (3.76 ypc) 2 TDs

Lee - Last Five Games 2010
10 of 25 (40.00%) for 125 yards; 5.00 ypa; 0 TDs; 0 Int; Rating 82.0
2 rushes for -22 yards (-11.00 ypc) 0 TDs

Playing college football doesn't make you smart.

I have several friends who played college ball. A few are smart. Some are dumb as bricks.
