he's still playing more effectively than flynn did last year. and fyi, flynn was a 4.8 QB

did flynn ever win 2 tough road SEC games? he had @ Bama last year, and i think that's it. and bama was a 6-6 team. and flynn sucked

I love his release, but his footwork is horrible and that is what throws off his accuracy... he gets too damn antsy in the pocket

Slo, this is where I disagree with you. I like Lee, and I think a lot more of him than some other people on here. But I wouldn't say the team rallies around him... yet.... I think the team rallied against AU and SC because we're just a better team than those two. It really rallied around the run game and our talent at receiver.

that's the point
lee's playing better than the guy who was our QB when we won the championship. lee isn't a crutch keeping us away from the title. our defense is the crutch this year
lee still hasn't had a game as bad as flynn @ UK or @ Bama. he has had comparably bad halves to the one flynn had v Arky

My comment last night was that Crowton needs to stop treating Lee like a pansy and open up the passing game. He may make a mistake, but the potential for the kid to make plays is through the roof.

well that's just defenses reading our offense
they're reading the frick out of that swing-screen
most QBs will throw picks if the play is a screen and a defender reads it well and is right there. stafford had 2 of those yesterday, actually. when you run a screen, you really only have 1 option, and it's hard to read because they never LOOK good
then add in how screens are based on allowing the D to get pressure, and you're going to create false reads
