A Dad next to me was giving his very young son Jell-O shots. It was a simple misunderstanding that if he listened or looked at the cameras he’d figure out he was in the wrong.
Instead he grabbed me from behind by my neck and removed me from the bar shoving me out the door. Both him and his son.
Other bars and locals of Omaha said the police in Omaha are a joke and nothing will happen. I mentioned that to the police and they assured me it wouldn’t slip through the cracks.
The detective finally messaged me and said it took them 65 days to request the video from Rocco’s. Which is an adequate time to delete. The owner admitted to putting his hands on me, but it wasn’t enough to do anything about it. Told the police department the people of Omaha were right about them.
Do what you want. Go if you want. The owner of Rocco’s, his family, and his staff are shitty people with previous altercations of putting hands on customers. The food is shitty pizza that wouldn’t pass at an elementary school for pizza. Drinks are over priced. Jell-O shots are egregiously over priced and terribly made. If I remember he had stated he would give “X” amount to charity and was stalling till he was called out by LSU fans.
Better places to eat and drink in Omaha with staff that actually appreciate you and our fanbase.

They post videos on Twitter after each team advances to Omaha. The video for announcing LSU was short and didn’t sound as exciting as the other videos they posted. You would think the amount of money LSU fans spend on them they would be ecstatic. Personally I think LSU fans should spend their money at other places after the fiasco last time

They pocket $2 per shot and donate $1 though they tried to lowball LSU in 23 until the fans called them out.
Pretty sure he’s been cited numerous times for failing to control alcohol and serving minors. In 23 they finally went to 21 and up to try to stop kids from drinking.
The shots are shitty, there’s far better places to go around Omaha.
We own the record, let him fleece other fan bases.

I hope much fewer LSU fans go there. Enough of a drop to make a big difference to them. I bet they don't make near as much money when LSU isn't in the WS. Go elsewhere. I'd bet other places would welcome our fans.

There’s so many great bars and eateries in Omaha. Rocco’s has the stupid jello shot challenge and location. But they’re trash.

One of the guys they call out in the Arkansas video is buddy buddy with Rocco’s owner. He’s a former boss of mine. He’s also the kind of guy that won’t buy Jell-O shots himself, but will ask people to Venmo him to “help the cause of the Hogs.” In reality a pitchers Dad for Arkansas was the one buying a lot of the shots for Arkansas.
Arkansas in 2018 and 2019 is what sparked and helped the contest take off. So Arkansas will always be Rocco’s little darling despite how much LSU spends there.
