Les was a retard. He would have retired here if he wasn’t so stubborn.

Saban won miles only championship so no. Miles was a r@t@rd who just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

Well if you ignore the wins, losses, and offensive statistical rankings, we're clearly better.

You are very triggered by truths. Chill and accept facts you can't change.

I haven't even scratched the surface how far back in the Miles /Saban rearview Ed is.
Download and read the LSU Media Guide for helping you prepare in dealing with these realities that invariably arise in threads.
The recruiting is looking up and hopefully Orgeron can change what is written someday.

no but if someone would offer me the option of having 2019-2030 go exactly like 2005-2016 did, id take it in a heartbeat.

Miles took Saban's recruits to new heights in win consistency.
They never knew b2b +10 win seasons prior to 2005, much less b2b2b.

How in the hell could anyone not like the direction the program is going right now?

maybe because losing 3 or more games every year and having a shite offense was the same results that got miles fired.
this,"right direction" needs to start culminating in elite win loss numbers.

if people do want him back,i haven't seen anyone say this,it probably has something to do with Miles being the most accomplished coach in lsu history.

We let miles go and I’d say we haven’t had better results

Totally agree Miles was a stubborn bafune that refused to change with the game the last 5 years he was at LSU. I know i will get grilled but bama ran the same offense as LSU's before saban got ran over by the spread offenses after 2011. He changed the Offense and thats why he has won multiple championships while Les Miles is coaching at Kansas today. Let the downvotes begin

I'll say it. Hell yeah, I miss him at Lsu. My son is 17 years old and just said "dad I don't remember when Lsu was sorry"

I loved Les. He was great ambassador of LSU. But it was past time for a change. No under no circumstances do I wish Les was still coach.

I go back and forth but not because I hate O or what appears to be the direction of the program, I just hate the way the whole situation was handled.

If Woodward had been AD, I think things changed for the better earlier, maybe even with Miles. I honestly think Alleva hated Miles as a person and was trying to let him hang himself at the expense of the program.

I believe Woodward would have been more forceful regarding the OC position and style. Then either Les would have moved off of his position or been moved off in a much more professional manner than an early season firing typically reserved for coaches who get caught doing something illegal.

All that being said, I hope O proves all us doubters wrong. I want LSU to succeed more than I want to be right about any coach. Every fan should.

Absolutely not. We were at a plateau with a stalled Offense that was not moving forward. I was sick of how our QB position played out each year.
Thank goodness for Coach O stirring things up.

That is the failure of Les. He has no imagination at all to put scheme present day defensive minds but he won’t change.
maybe Kansas will be good enough to beat Baylor though
