Inquiring minds want to know.

I think he did what he was asked well enough. But he wasn't asked to do anything special so why should his performance be categorized as "great"?

A lot of people at LSU have greatly lowered their expectations at the QB position. So maybe relatively... maybe.

Too small of a sample size to tell.

He did not play bad that's for sure.

Completed 65% of his passes, scrambled for a few 1st downs, and didn't make any major mistakes. I am not sure what else you could ask the kid to do.

if you count the plays that were called back on penalties i think you could say "great"

Good, not great. Like you said, he wasn't asked to do much.

But it's obvious to anyone watching that the guy could be incredible. I think he's got a great chance of rushing for 500+ yards this year.

Not "great" because he wasn't really in a position to play great, but what we did see from him was a huge upgrade from the last few seasons at QB asside from 2013 Mett.

Harris executed very well with minimal mistakes.

And if bad plays were negated?

Every game has penalties.

No, certainly not

He missed a couple of reads and throws

But he didn't make any big mistakes, which gives me a lot of hope for the future

I'd give him a solid B-

He did play great. Had he been average, we don't win that game.

In this limited sample size, yes. He made some good decisions with the ball. Made some nice throws. Made a nice decision to tuck and run and gained a first on 3rd and long.

Me too. I think the kid was poised, and I came away very hopeful. I think the reins will be loosened a little bit at home for Auburn.

His performance was encouraging. It should make you realize he can be a great QB. People on here keep saying it was "great" though so they can have a reason to be mad at Miles.

Compared to, say, Key, Toliver and Teuhema, no.
But it was a big improvement.

He certainly looked better than Jennings ever has. That's all I really wanted.
