I think he did what he was asked well enough. But he wasn't asked to do anything special so why should his performance be categorized as "great"?
who said he was great last week? He did not make any mistakes in his 2015 debut in an SEC Road game Stadium. I did not see any ill advised throws.
You have only seen the tip of the iceberg with him. He is a very skilled evasion artist when the pocket collapses. He also has good straight up running talent. Put that together with his capable arm and he can exceed Mett's level in a couple of yrs.

executed the game plan and showed flashes of being much more than a game manager.
was it "great" looking at the stats? No. Did it pass the eye test? You bet.

quote:Most of the pre game talk was "with average qb play we'll be great". Harris did what was asked of him = not great, but an A.
he wasn't asked to do much
Now when he is asked for more we can be a little more critical of his performance.
Harris will be a beast this year.

Including the call backs yes great! He wasn't asked to do much but the little that we got to see was awsome! It was so refreshing to see accurate passes and he ran it like a seasoned vet. I don't know how you can not be excited as a tiger fan

We had 14 pass attempts all game. We only passed on 3rd and long in the 2nd half. Considering the coaches seem to put him in extremely tough situations, yes he played great.

No........ but he did manage the game well and that's all LSU really needs him to do to be successful.
