Yeah, but your example pointed to a coach who screwed up, was fired, which obviously led to an improvement in the program.
This has quite possible been the worst supporting evidence for a point that I've seen in a while.

I would have loved to see Jefferson get the snap and run it in while OM stood around. BUT he just didn't have the experience/maturity to do that.

Remember the refs helped bama in that game as well. Bama had an injured player on the ground, and instead of stopping the clock it continued to run and LSU was not allowed to run another play.
