As for the NFL, no one is wasting a roster spot on him. He brings nothing to the table the NFL wants.

We'll see.

I’m not a NFL scout but I’d be pissed if my team drafted Nuss.

I was called a shitty fan before the season by several because I said it would be depressing as hell if your team had the 1.1, all that hope…and you got Garrett Nussmeier as your franchise savior.

Nussmeier does not look like an NFL QB. He needs to enjoy the college game

I agree with this part. I feel like he’s pressing to meet the unrealistic expectations of being a Heisman winner and #1 overall pick and it’s hurting the offense. He doesn’t need to be a superstar to be an effective game manager. If he can’t exploit a (college) defense that is completely ignoring him as a running threat, he has no chance against any NFL defense.

And for those who want to believe that he’s had significant injuries, why didn’t he sit out the game against an inferior opponent? Was it in the team’s best interest to let Nuss pad stats or to let MVB get significant PT?

True but the one thing you CANOT be is a turnover machine.

There was once this gunslinger named Brett Favre.
