It wasn't so long ago that people were grimmacing at the idea of a 3-loss LSU team "infecting" the Sugar Bowl.

Only if we lose! They have "coasted" all year with an easy schedule. All they need is ONE game. Can you say '06 Boise State?

No!

I think Hawaii deserves it and it's good to see a different team in a BCS bowl game.

No kidding, you think the defense was confused vs Ar-kansas! Let Brennan start passing and throw 60 and see what they are doing.

Ratings

Will be in the top 3 of all bowl games, perhaps the top-rated one if the national championship game is Mizzou-West Virginia. People know LSU and people like underdog stories (Hawaii). Especially after what happened last year with Boise, people will tune in to see David vs. Goliath.

Yes. It seems that the BCS craps on the Sugar Bowl every year. Notre Dame last year and Hawaii this year? Thats a joke

Our job as a member of the SEC is to expose the imposters. Defend the turf. Shame them into leaving.
Crap, I hope we just win.

No, because if we play them, and we kill them, The country will see on a national stage their inability to play with the big dogs.

If we win by alot , they will say we were suppose to.
If it is close or we lose it will validate their program

Hawaii's defense may not be SEC caliber.....BUT...their offense could pick us apart if we play like we have recently with basically the shitttiest pass coverage you've ever seen! Hopin for the best!

I can't stand it. Hawaii is good, but not BCS good.

lol, I thought this might be a funny thread to bump. It was right before the 2007 SEC champ game. I guess it worked out for us
And I was right about Hawaii. UGA murdered them.
