i also look for more throws to the TE in the near future as well.

Which TE do you want to see us throw to. Moreau is apparently playing hurt which isn't working.

Washington? Ducre (I do want to see him touch the ball in some way)?

The guy you would think would be the best receiving TE is Moss given his genetics, but somehow he's hurt too.

It also gives LSU one more thing to worry about. Why not just develop an offensive identity and practice it until you execute to mastery?

This. I don't care what our identity is going to be, but we still don't have a base offense that is mastered yet. Mixing it up - if it happens - seems so unnecessary.

I doubt we totally get away from our offense

Which is...? I've seen at least two different offenses this year.

Les miles did play in two national title games and 3 sec title games running that offense. Coach O would be a fool to be a part of that and not try and keep some of the good parts. When we played a team that couldnt stop us out of that I, they literally had no shot at all. That happened a lot during Les Miles tenure. The problem was not having any diversity and running that I into a brick wall like Bama over and over.

Tom Osborne was pretty successful running the triple option out of the I. Don't knock it.

that is what jimbeaux fisher does. teaches a handful of plays, master them before moving on to others. just how he operates. he has stated this before. he wants execution of what he has taught first

Burrow was 4-4 under Center. Nick has Great vision & patience. Putting Tori n front of him could be fruitful. And u can run 3 wide from I. Just think west coast concept They may run Power I (Miles ball) idk, I’m just saying 3 wide with a back n TE has been our base. Replacing TE with FB (tori) is possible and is a way to be versatile

Even the Saints use I Formation from time to time. There’s nothing wrong with it. I understand Les used it too much. But there’s nothing wrong with using it sparingly, and in the right situation.

This is a very valuable game for the passing, wanted to see them work more on that than fall back into old ways

You can’t pass out of the I?

u sure can! u can run some good PA rollout flood routes with a TE corner route high with a TE cross intermediate and a FB flat route low with RB going to backside as a checkdown among other things.

shite u can run a simple curl/flats concept with I form normal set

who'd a thunk it?

Sounds smart cause Tech being that they are a decent team. They are smallish at LB and DB. I formations will bring in the defense and pass over the top

I like running out of the eye honestly especially if we actually have been throwing the ball some it’s not all that bad.

I don’t have a problem with the I. The issue with it under miles was that he exausted it’s use to the max.

There is still a place for the I to be successful. However the game has evolved from the days when it was used as the base formation with a large percentage of teams running most of their plays out of the I

O did say they were still installing parts of the offense. This could be just another piece of our puzzling offense.

Didn't he just recently say he's moving into the spread? Something about when you're in pro style for so long that it takes time to move out from it? Why go backwards? We should be implementing more spread not less.

Brosette and Curry will run better out of the I I’m glad they are bringing it back for a few plays

When has curry ever run on the I before LSU?
