Per NCAA rules, he isn't even allowed to wear pads for a few days after he returns to practice. Starks has been going through that mandated acclimation period, and Ed will, also.

I think you got them. I'm not falling for it though. There's no way you actually believe he will play tomorrow, when he's not even on the team yet

I'm sure he is staying in shape and has studied the playbook very well but you still have to go out there and practice with the rest of the starting lineman before you can just step in and play without making too many mistakes.
