Big Ed is probably our most legit OL with NFL talent right now.!
No, I don’t think that’s true. I think the two with the most upside, of the guys who have played a lot, are Dare and Hines. Both of these guys are destined to be starters in the NFL. It would not surprise me if they start their rookie years.
Folks are down on Hines because we’ve seen some whiffs, but those have been almost all communication problems that I assume can be fixed. Hines has great strength and is very nimble. Dare is a starting NFL left tackle. If Dare comes back our offensive line will be the strength of next year’s team.
And for perspective, at the end of 2018 this board was as down on the offensive line as it is now. I repeatedly posted that I saw a lot of talent on the 2018 oline, and it would be a team strength in 2019 - then they won the Joe Moore award.

You could also argue he is what he is and won't improve his NFL stock much
Exactly! Deculus will probably make it in the league as a backup, unless he is capable of pulling, in which case the guy could be a starter at guard. But staying another year is a terrible idea for Deculus. He will not improve by having a fourth year as a starter when he has been fully developed physically for at least three years now.

I think Deculus played better in 2019, than 2020. Did he have the chance to go through a normal spring again, and the normal S&C program in the Spring of 2020 till Summer of 2002.
I hope he comes back is able to go through in Spring 2021 what he would have in 2020 absent COVID-19.

He was the main OL I felt can make a difference.
