Too bad ESPN isn't utilizing ESPN3 to the fullest. Instead of picking up more regionals, not just LSU's, they're simulcasting the Women's CWS instead. Oh, and how I love yachting and cricket.

I'm confused...
Does that mean no TV coverage? Contractually can FOX, CST, CSS, provide coverage regionally? If not...

Just checked my local listings for Fox, and they're not showing any regionals. I have AT&T U-Verse with the sports package, and not one of the Fox networks has a regional scheduled.
I'm going to check CBS College Sports' schedule.

someone can pick it up. CST (or Jumbo sports) have picked up regionals in years past. it normally takes a da or 2 for the details to be worked out. look for an announcement by wednesday

For God's sake, CBS College Sports is going to broadcast D-II Lacrosse and D-II Softball.

Everyone is in panic mode right now, brah.
I tried telling them the Geaux Zone has picked up road games before, and they'll stream an entire regional (every game). Of course, they did that when we hosted. No reason why the GZ can't make it out there. I'm glad they finally got the camera behind the pitcher so I could better discern the pitches thrown. I got tired of hearing Jim say, "And there's a fastball on the outside for a strike," when the pitch is really a slider.

I have a powerful lust to watch New Mexico baseball.

yeah but geauxZone doesnt do road games, they wont travel to cali IMO
our only hope is CST, one good thing is Cox Cable does have offices & provide cable to certain parts of cali (irvine to be exact), so that may work in our favor

GeauxZone has never "picked up" road games. The only time road games were shown was when the other school was using the same company that we use (neulion now, but was something different previously), and it just let us watch their broadcast.
And like you said, the regionals that were shown were at home. I think there was a rule that if there was going to be a live stream then it had to be available for free. So if there is going to be a live feed it will have to be handled by UCLA.

I have no doubts CST will carry the games if not on ESPN networks.

Why would they cover the CSF regional?
It's all about Kevin Costner and his star power. He's a huge contributor (for true) to the CFS program. Because of his current hotness he's promised the ESPN executives that he will boost ratings by waving to the camera from the stands.
The real cinch was Kevin's ability to exploit how out of touch these ESPN execs are. He's got them all lined up with tickets (rubbing elbows w/starlettes) to the upcoming premier of " Dancing With Wolves " . THAT's WHY !
