You realize multiple ESPN analysts said before and after the game that the only way a rematch happens is if LSU is the losing team?

Rematch is coming - versus the PAC 12 champion Oregon ducks.

Yes, but they also said last week that Ok St's defense was the real deal.
The question is if you really believe them? They still think Bama is better. An LSU loss would have confirmed what they thought, and to a lesser extent, still seem to think. So yeah, I think we drop lower and aren't in the same position.

Although I have faith in our Tigers, I would not want to see a rematch. It is incredibly hard to beat a team twice in the same season. (Heck, it was incredibly hard to beat Alabama the first time.) I don't think we'll see a rematch because the human voters IMHO will not want it to happen. If Stanford or Okie State win out, it will not be an issue. However, if things get crazy....who knows?

The dumbest reason for a rematch is the simple fact that LSU would have to play in the SECCG and WIN it, while Bama sits around and waits. That's what is getting overlooked here.

The only way I would go for rematch would be, we beat the pigs, we get an auto bid to the BCSCCG and Bama goes to the SECCCG and win it.

This is an excellent argument that has gone overlooked, myself included.

Lest we forget, fellow Tigers.....we MUST win these next 3 games PLUS the SECCG!!!

Do you have any idea how much ESPN will be on Stanford's arse if they beat Oregon? It changes week in and week out. If Stanford wins you'll hear for 2 weeks - Wait, maybe Stanford can win the whole damn thing?
Before the game I said win or lose having a rematch is a joke and completely ridiculous

lets not forget bama plays state, ga southern and auburn and they are in with stanford and osu losing.
while lsu has a easy road them has to play arkansas and a potential top 10 team in uga. so lsu will play 2 top 10 teams while alabama plays no body.
im assuming uga beats auburn.

If LSU were to lose to UGA in the title game, Bama would go to the NC, UGA to the Sugar, and LSU wouldn't even be in the BCS.
