shite take. Especially when you realize that almost every successful S&C coach understudied with Moffitt and Hatch at one point. Unchain him with the next staff with the BS weekly schedule.

Let me get this straight.

Last week, vs FL, all is good

This week, nothing is good. Enter OP’s post.

Logic has no place here. Ok.

Interesting. Why do you think he’s been here so long? Why did we hire O in the first place? Wool over eyes. Wake up.

While a few may disagree, I couldn’t agree more with the original post. Players do appear to be getting slower and not as strong, but I have a legit guess as to why.

Anyone who works out consistently knows that recommended workouts, training, nutrition, etc. changes as the science gets better. (Imagine how cutting edge the workouts are or should be for LSU.) So, just like our X’s and O’s coaches, if our strength coach is not keeping up with new innovations, then he is getting worse. Then our players get hurt more and don’t develop as well as everyone else who keeps up. I don’t want a strength coach who was good 5-10 years ago. I want one that’s good now.

To Moffit’s point, however, I have no sauce and can’t prove whether administration or other coaches (like head coaches or coordinators) are getting in his way of bettering the team.

My point was that the players aren't weak or unconditioned. They're soft on the field, mentally. Undisciplined, missing tackles, giving up on plays. That's culture instilled from head coach, not a function of the S&C coach. Blaming Moffitt is like blaming the cooks for your food being cold when it's the server being lazy and slow.

Moffitt spends more time with the players than anyone. He helps instill mental toughness and discipline as much or more than anyone. I think the dip is a product of poor recruiting, especially along the LOS. Our linemen are soft, fat, and poorly conditioned. I'd be very surprised if Moffitt is back. The new coach should bring in his own guy.

Players quitting and those playing soft is not the strength and conditioning coaches' fault. It's the idiot that lost his teams' fault.

They aren't just playing soft, they are soft.
Winded, hurt, slow...

We get pushed all over the field.

We have probably 4-5 players on our team playing currently who are in peak physical and muscular condition. The rest of the team is out of shape, weak, and slow.

And please tell us what LeBron has done to you and your family for you to talk about him like that? We would like to know. Obviously, he must have done something to you.
