Seems extremely risky considering she has no coaching experience or has been around running a major D1 program..
She may know the X's and O's to the game but implementing that to college athletes and managing a program is something else.

This reminds me of the Trent Johnson to TCU situation. I would like nothing more than to see Tennessee "steal" her from us.

Looks like now Kelly Jolly Harper is about to be named coach. Several reports running around to that effect.

Her run at NC St was bad but the UT name is enough for recruits in women's basketball so every coach has a chance.

I just have a hard time seeing her do much worse than what Holly did tbh..
She will be walking into a team full of talent. Her coaching records aren't awe inspiring. She did have a good NCAAT run this year though.

Did you see the candidates? Jeez that was some Joe Alleva type shite
They literally pursued only female candidates with a connection to Tennessee. To not even try to look outside the bubble is embarrassing, and from a program of that caliber. Well I guess they aren't high caliber anymore, not since Pat left.
If I was Tennessee fan I would be pisssed

Nikki is probably really kicking herself because if that's the hire they made then she probably had a real shot if we were like a 2nd rd tourney team.

Nikki must be blackout drunk right now. Chloe Jackson just led Baylor to a national title and won the MVP. To cap it off it looks like Tennessee is hiring a former Summitt disciple who is basically on the same level as her with coaching careers.
