Ohio state in national championship. I was living in Ohio at the time and the whole world was against me. Tigers rubbed it in by running gadget plays, the taste was sweet.

Best sporting event I have ever witnessed live, and I went to BCSNC games in 03&07. Honestly, I don't know if anything will ever compare. There was something crazy magical going on inside Tiger Stadium that night.

Loudest was Florida 2009 (Tebow Last visit to TS)

Favorite was Georgia 2003

Honorable Mention for loudest that NO ONE ever mentions... Auburn 2005 when Jon Vaughn missed the Fg in OT.

LSU versus Boston College 1953. The stadium was a certified madhouse.

There are so many good ones its hard to say but whenever this
question comes up, I always think of the 1982 FSU "orange" game.

Sou Cal 1979. Even though Tigers lost a squeaker to the eventual National Champion, Cholly Macs' last team fought like real Tigers before 80,000 roaring fans who did not let up the entire game.

Been to all those after mentioned here...IMHO, not even close. For sustained noise, for me this has never been approached.

Maybe specific moments may have, but even then...when LeRoid Jones scored that first TD, I'm not sure I've ever heard any louder.

Lots of very good ones listed. None better, IMO.

But, I will throw out 2000 Tennessee. Different LSU state of football at the time...but that OT win with OT TD pass to Robert Royal and then, after time ended with all the celebration craziness, and in TV time out, PA says...."In a few minutes, TV cameras will be back on Tiger Stadium...Let's show America what it is like in Death Valley on a Saturday night."

Favorite was 2000 Bama. Back and forth the entire game, and we FINALLY beat a Bama team at home after so many years.
