I'll never really understand all of the love for Mauck. He was arguably the worst player on our 2003 NC team.
But he was under center for a national championship team. That alone buys him love on this board

If there is one ultimate truth in this world, it's that the majority of football fans give QBs way too much credit and way too much blame for outcomes.

Mauck was vital to the NC. His injury the year before cost the team a couple wins. He made the throws he had to, and didnt make many mistakes plus he could tuck it and run.
Wish I had seen Bert play.
Hodson was great. The Ky game that he finished after almost biting his tongue in 2 is something i'll never forget.
JR was an amazing talent.
Tyler squeezed every ounce of production out of himself, given his height and arm strength.
But Ro was the epitome of a leader. Played thru injuries (altho he seemed very injury prone), fought thru the whole Booty drama in a classy way, and made something happen whenever he was on the field.

Speaking of QBs, what kind of player was Jesse Daigle, supposedly him and Mike Bonnette were out by the pool today staying at same resort here in Destin. Same guy claims Miles has a condo here as well.

Mike Hillman
then Hodson.
Bertram Hayes Jones was pretty good, but I never saw the love for LSU in him that I saw in the other quarterbacks.
