We’ve started inching up again, and watch, once we get back in the 40’s/close to 50/50, many votes will appear and we’ll quickly jump back down. That UMASS Guy has not life

How does a bot work? Wouldn't you need a different profile for each vote?

It’s multiple bots. They create many bots and can program them all to vote for the same choice. I don’t know the specifics of how that all works (or I may be inclined to do it myself). There are sites like socialforming.com where you can buy as many bot votes as you need (but why spend money on an ultimately meaningless twitter poll).

If someone knows anything about using bots/has the capability of doing this, now is the time to speak up! It’s only fair considering some A-hole UMASS fan is doing it. Any legit poll between the two, and you know we’d win hands down.

Definitely HAS to be 'bots. There's no freaking WAY that UMASS has a better band than Ohio State! That one should have been thrown out right there. Top two college bands in the country are undoubtedly LSU and tOSU. These two should be going head to head. I didn't even realize that UMASS had more than men's and womens' basketball teams and badminton teams - and possibly "crew/rowing." Where the hell is a marching band supposed to perform for these sports?

They have a pretty fantastic drum line, led by several DCI guys. I don’t know much about the rest of the band, though. I still think GBFTL is heads and shoulders better than just about every D1 band out there.

It's very telling that the overwhelming majority of comments in the thread favor LSU, yet UMass is up huge.
