Averaging 310 yards per game. Granted it's early, but after 294 yards of total offense against a Miami team, that may or may not have been worthy of that #9 ranking that you've bragged about in a couple of posts today, most people would have thought that after playing a team like SE Louisiana, we would be averaging a hell of alot more than just over 300 yards a game.

shite, that's bad. Even a Les Miles offense was better than what we've seen so far.

In fairness to Canada he brought no assistants, and couldn't name his starting QB. Yet was charged with the offense. He likely couldn't wait ti leave.

Good grief, you are such a pussy. Why don’t you form a group, call it RANTIFA, wear all black and protest against poor offensive stats.

Its not even just the stats. Its the fact that they offense looked out of sorts. They dont even know what they are attempting to do and couldnt sustain drives against a FCS team

We only had 29 more total yards against SLU than we had against Bama last year

It's points that matter, or did the rules suddenly change?

I was never a Canada fan and didn't like his offense. But I find it hard to believe that year 2 of Canada would be worse than our current offense

His offense moved the ball better against Bama than anything Les did since 2010.

Plus it was the first year of his system. I’d imagine in year 2 it would be more effective. Surely Canada could have schemed up something better than 15 plays for 62 yards in the second half against a bad FCS team.

I’m not here to troll this board, this is a genuine warning to the blind O supporters. Firing a competent OC who schemed with a weak OL to a 6-2 SEC record was getting the job done.
All part of Aranda's master plan.

Dave Aranda was overlooked and leapfrogged by Ed O, but he's since positioned himself to take the program over.

Aranda's defense is the one bright spot in the program. We see that on the field, and the administration proved they understood that when they gave him a raise to head-coach pay.

Aranda wanted Canada gone; Canada was a threat. He could get creative and innovative with the offense... and allow LSU to move the ball some. The defense could be less important with a good offense, and what's more, the fans might choose a more potent offense over a stifling defense.

So now, we're back to boring ball, and our DC is happy again. We'll lose, but not because of the defense. So O will get canned, Aranda will be interim, and with any type of good finish, will become the next HC.

Tell the truth...you would rather see LSU lose than O succeed

This is such bullshite.

I and most of the rest of us who don’t like Ed as HC would love, LOVE to be proven wrong.

But he has shown nothing to even give us a hint that that might be the case.

As opposed to our offense that gets shite down by SELA.

All true, but he knew that going in. It would be about like me complaing about grading papers all weekend. I knew it going in so if I have an issue it's on me. Lastly, he didn't arrive the day before BYU. Were there issues before then, maybe. The game plan that day didn't indicate that to me though. At any rate, he is gone. O and Emsminger have a chance to put a skin on the wall. With the suspensions and injuries on the O line they have a legit issue. To be fair, I haven't heard them used that as a crutch (I may be wrong...but I really don't recall that narrative at all from the staff). A win on the road at Auburn would be impressive. I picked us to go 10-2 with one of the losses being Auburn. I hope I'm wrong. Let's see what we do.

If O is taking orders from Aranda on who to fire and who to hire, why isn't he our head coach then?

No other FBS school would have a stat like that, and Ensminger looks like he hasn’t coached in 20 years.

Good point. Is there another even remotely similar?
