I think we're all missing the big picture here.

Why are we playing with Nerf Balls?

Depends on the route.

I'm totally okay with that release point on slant routes.

well as long as the offense looks better, I guess I don't care where his release is.

Shepard looks a little bigger, and Lee looks like he's in great shape

"PURPLE PANTS! PURPLE PANTS!!! OMG OMG OMG!!"

"I heard from my cousin's roomate's girlfriend's dad who mops the locker room floors of the practice facility that they will wear purple pants in Atlanta."

I can't believe he runs with the same face

But, frankly, he could have clown makeup or something so long as he's catching balls like he was last year, i'm happy

Geez, you think JJ is gonna have any trouble getting the ball over the line with that release point. Damn.

yea i noticed that. looked a little awkward

He looks like a cricket bowler. That release point is probably why he tends to throw the ball down at receivers's ankles.

That release point is

exactly what you want on slants and short crossing routes.

Russell used to do the same thing.

Yes, but as last season demonstrated, he doesn't simply use that release point on slants or crossing routes. He gets on top of the ball. That's why there are occassions when he woefully underthrows out routes or hits receivers at their shoelaces. It was a consistent issue last year. Hopefully, he has improved.

As long as JJ can get the ball to the receiver, I really don't care how he releases it. Seriously, I know the kid has problem with mechanics but its a bit much to be judging him on one picture with no context of the play being run.

I can't believe this thing is almost on page 3, and no one has mentioned (#90)Michael Brockers. If that isn't 300lbs of human animal, I don't know what is. OMG, that dude will, not could, be a force this season.

FWIW, this was Rohan's release. I think he worked out pretty good for us.
