Well what's Herman's case?

If jimbos is his national title and conference wins, what exactly is so impressive about Herman?

Is it the mouth kissing you yearn for?

This is why I love TD, not ready to kiss any guy over it, but maybe his wife. Before deciding, send picture of wife and boat!

The reality is there is only one Saban, I don't think there really are many or any coaches that will beat him consistently. They might be competitive but its Saban

A lot of good coaches in CFB just not quite Saban.

Say Saban again.

The conference is getting better and Jimbo is getting worse

3 of the last 4 yrs saw that "weak" conference have a team play for the NC and they won 2.

In that same 4 yrs, the ACC had 7 top 10 rankings and the SEC had 9.

Has the SEC been better? Yes, but not by much and the ACC certainly hasn't been "weak" while Jimbo was winning 87% of his games from 2013-2016.

The Jimbo resume crap is over used

A coaching resume isn't the begin all or end all, but it is the only truly non agenda driven measuring stick available in most cases.

Anyone not able to see the vast difference between the Coach O record of achievement as a DL/HC and that of Jimbo as a OC/HC is the one with an agenda. imo

Why are so-called idiot LSU fans in this thread making excuses for a coach of another team?

A team that competes against LSU in recruiting. A team that when they do bad, it is GOOD for LSU. Huh?

Thank you Tiger Ree for posting this. Don't know if it will sink in, this is a mighty hard headed bunch.

Coach still coaching LSU in three years and Fisher out of a job, that would be a shocking revelation

I agree. I wasn't a huge fan of going all in on Fisher though he is IMO a step or 2 above O. The main reason I didn't have a huge problem with the O hire is keeping Aranda and if O sucked we could $#!T can him after a year or two with little to no buyout. That was before I realised the ridiculous buyout Alleva gave O.

The buyout isn't as big an issue as people are making it out to be. It decreases significantly each year. The fact is that I'm not sure a major Div 1 coach has ever been fired after 1 year. They buyout is only big the first year. And considering what we are paying him, we seriously got a steal of a deal.

Jimbo has done a poor job this year. But you are delusional if you didn’t see quit in us v Moo State.

We rolled over and played dead in the 4th. Go watch the tape.

In any case I’d take Jimbo over O today, yesterday and tomorrow.

The “CEO” structure where subordinates don’t answer to nor respect the HC is dysfunctional. It can’t work long term.

Players and coaches like O, except Canada, they respect him as a person and a recruiter but not as a football guy, not someone who can scheme and game plan. That’s a problem.

I hope we win every game regardless of who the coach is but this structure is an issue.

yeah, maybe we did quit at the end of that game.

We were playing a ton of freshman. They were lost.

BUT THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS.... Coach O fixed the issues and got the team hungry and on track. Meanwhile, Dumbo hasn't figured out how to do that and his team is tanking (but hey, he's a better HC right?)

That, among other things, points to Coach O is significantly outperforming Dumbo this year. It's not even a debate.

The team didn't quit against Troy. They just didn't show up. Big difference. And in fact, the team worked hard in the second half to get the W but ran out of time. That is not quitting. Know the difference.

The Jimbo "knights" are delusional. The FSU program is rotten to the core and its coming to a head this season.

Jimbo was never the answer for LSU post Les Miles.

So O just can’t get his team to show up against lesser teams? Got it.

How bout Mississippi State? What happened there?

I'm sorry, but wasn't Dumbo the OC, Qb coach, recruiting coordinator all those years?

So when FSU loses, it's ok to make excuses for them or point the finger at someone else. But when they win, it's all Dumbo? Why doesn't the same reasoning work for Coach O?

All those great recruiting classes Dumbo has and guess what? Coach O playing with a much younger team is outperforming poor Dumbo. We'll be bowling and they'll consoling.

O, definitely outperforming Jimbo this season.

Some idiot LSU fans will be consoling Jimbo too.

Another loss for Jimbo Fisher. ESPN reports, that not since 1976 has Fla St. lost this many games this early

Bob Saget's attempt at quoting TTT:

Bob Saget again:

No surprise that ESPN is wrong.

FSU is 2-5.

FSU lost 6 games multiple times under Bowden.

Work on your learning comprehension, retard. Read the OP's statement again and see if you can figure out where you went wrong. I even included it in the post so you won't have to look too far.

You can take Davey off the list. Davey was already at LSU two years before Jimbo arrived.

It's clear Coach Oaux is loved and respected by his players. Personally I like to hear his gravel voiced pep talks before a game. Geaux Tigers!

Where's the chicken on a stick?

Fisher is no one hit wonder. He's won championships as a OC and HC. He's won more than most. You can't really say O is better when you are as proven as fisher.

But O had impressed me for sure overall. Minus some head scratching losses. But 1st year HC's having growing pains. Just look at most first year records. It's the way he's regrouped rallied and won crucial games. He's pushed all the right buttons since troy. Still gotta finish

Miles had to face Alabama and Saban every year not to mention Aub too. So will coach O.

Years from now every coaches resume will be compared to those who've faced Saban on a regular basis.

Beside Auburn and maybe Florida (might be stretching it) LSU hasn't played a schedule near that

ESPN FPI disagrees. So I'll leave this right here for you.
