When you strand numerous baserunners, walk 10+ batters and make careless baserunning and fielding errors, you don't deserve to win. You literally gave FSU the game when they did nothing really to win it except take advantage of our errors. They had them too and we did nothing. I feel like we may have a better pitching outing tomorrow (here's hoping) but offense better get their shite together.

So frustrating to watch this team continue to stub their toes.
Coaching matters...it really does. Our pitchers come in nationally rated and leave unable to throw strikes when it matters. Our position players come in highly rated and leave looking confused at the plate.

Absolutely pathetic performance from Veitmeier, Fontenot, Hess.

Hess was never a good pitcher. Period.

Todd Peterson should flat out call this team out. He care to play. The rest of them shot the bed.

Sorry if the BPB sounded off, apparently TD didn't want to work properly during the game.
It loaded slow all game...not your fault.

It was a pretty typical game by this team looking back on the season.

This site performed like the LSU baseball team has all season.

And about Mainieri and his pitcher selection: whenever your number is called you better be ready to go. Hindsight is 20/20. How do we know that Fontenot woulda gone out there and been lights out. Hess came out and was underwhelming. You don't know this shite when you call them out there. Players still have to execute. Coaching can only take so much of the blame. At the end, players have to take responsibility as well.

2 little league baserunning mistakes definitely cost us 2 runs but all the bullpen had to do was come into the 7th inning and not give up 4 runs. Veitmeier, Fontenot, and Hess should be absolutely ashamed of their performances today.

Is that even a word? Judges?
Anyway, back to your ridiculous statement. Quit trying to be the super edgy, funny board guy. You are failing.
Haha.

Seriously, even when a team is struggling to hit.. to possess the ability to hit a homerun is a luxury.
Hal Hughes needs to stop fricking starting.. I would rather a 200 hitter who his double digit bomb potential get those at bats.

Hal Hughes PLAYING (much less starting) is absurd. Supposedly we play him for his glove and he gives up a run cause he couldn’t make a play- now granted, it was a tough play- but if he can’t make that play, what’s the point?

That’s not true. But I would say he’s running purely on his performance as a Freshman. He’s not so bad that he should never come out the pen, but I don’t see where he separates from the other bullpen arms.
