When I asked about it in the past, the event management folks told me that they already had the pre-game festivities planned. I didn't bother to explain that all they need to do was coordinate the timing of the national anthem ending and the fly-by.

I am still holding out hope that LSU would ask for a B-52 from Barksdale flanked by two F-15s for a football game to top Bama's KC-135 and two F-16s from a few years back.

agreed....Bama's flyover was the coolest I have ever seen, but an escorted B-52 would top that by a mile.....

of course, I think a chinook helicopter flanked by a couple of apache's would be every bit as awesome....

I did not agree with the previous poster who posted that, I did agree it is easy to tell the difference between a F-15 and a F-16.

Yeah I know and I agree with ya, very easy to tell apart. Was not trying to be a smart arse just letting you know. I have stood on top of a 15 and those tails are straight, while the 18's are angled out.

ME TOO!!! That was in '05, and, I hate to say it, but it was the best flyover I have ever seen. They were so low they almost clipped the top of the crane that was up for their North endzone expansion. We gotta beat that one day:)

Was an awesome sight. Happened so fast there was no time to get a pic.

Thinking in some place like Libya they have a completely different reaction to something like this.

No doubt about it. I almost shite my pants when they flew in that low, but it was an awesome sight to see. The stadium of course went nuts when it happened.
